Bronx
The combination of a disciplined lifestyle (working out 5 days a week, practicing autophagy, proper nutrition in addition to marijuana use has changed my life drastically. Marijuana has also been instrumental to help my sleep deprivation (in combo with magnesium and potassium). I am a late boomer due to my previous career/jobs and I am still learning about the different terpenes. However, I feel the combo noted above has drastically improved many areas of my health including inflammations, depression, energy, weight control, joint pains, headaches, anxiety amongst other issues. If you are in a legal state in which allows the use of both recreational and medical marijuana, you should look into it a bit deeper. People are still considering marijuana a bad thing and you can hear them paraphrasing anecdotes with prejudice. It is a taboo that a lot of uneducated and ignorant people continue to treat it as a "bad thing". The same people who are poisoning themselves and their kids with fructose, junk and salty foods. Forget these people and start conducting your own research on the topic. If you are legal to try it, I highly recommend to anyone that feels body aches and mental distress. https://www.healtheuropa.eu/health-benefits-of-cannabis/92499/ Cannabis contains CBD which is a chemical that impacts the brain, making it function better without giving it a high along with THC which has pain relieving properties. Biggs
I agree about the descipline aspect of smoking pot. When I was smoking pot regularly I committed to eating a large bag of Frito's every day.

Snell41
Weight loss? LolololololAbsolutely! I’ve mentioned this before in another thread. My regular doc (I’m 44 now) a couple years ago went off record with me. He noted that I was on blood pressure meds, anti anxiety, and regular pain meds for a spinal fusion in my neck. He told me while he was unable to prescribe cannabis, he would gladly work with me monitoring my health if I wanted to consider using cannabis medically. This meant going from a weekend/occasional user to basically a daily regimen. He preferred i use edibles but smoking it would be fine as well. This was about 2.5 years ago now. Since then over time I’ll no longer on BP meds and maintains healthy 110/65, I haven’t taken any form or anxiety meds (used to pop Xanax/Clonopan regularly), and I haven’t even taken an Advil in well over a year. I’ve also lost 35 pounds while making almost no effort to do so. Cannabis has been an absolute godsend to me. The only negative side effect I’ve experienced is some short term memory lapses.Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app

Hypothetically, it would seem that close to 30 years daily use isn't enough to hit that threshold. Again hypothetically. Then again the medical industry prescribes experimental drugs to children, and told us reducing healthy fats was a good thing. Anyone want some FDA approved olestra chips? Maybe those psychotic people were defective to begin with.
