If he is hurt as bad as it seems this is a legit disaster for this team.

This guy is in his prime and has just been wrecking our high end LT prospect all through camp.  there is no legit next man up.  We have not had an outside rusher who legit commands game planning for 15 years and it has held back some good defense from being elite.

An injury likes this makes other players seasons worse.  Before it was 'who are you going to double quinnen williams or lawson?'

Oh we will get some nice play out of a guy like Huff but Lawson was set to have a massive year.

Absolute disaster for all reasons you stated. No good comes out of this.

Feeling a pop doesn't mean anything, per say. When the Achilles tears, you will see the gastroc and soleus balled up closer to it's origin, it's pretty unmistakable. If he tore it, they already know. If they're unsure, it could very well be partially torn.

How would a partial tear change the prognosis for recovery?

So how long does it usually take to hear MRI results?

Technically, they'll know as soon as the MRI is completed.  A first year radiology resident can diagnose a torn/ruptured Achilles.  It is not hard to diagnose on an MRI at all.

The question is, when are they going to do it and then how long are they going to wait to announce the results.

Normal Achilles tendon and torn Achilles tendon
