Robert Saleh and the Jets are now 2-0 in meaningless Augut football this year.  Great outing for Zach, just nervously wiaiting on word about the injuries. 

More good than bad today.  Strong outings for Wilson, Kroft and Ammendola.

After the number of guys who were banged up tonight, I was happy to see them just end the game.  No reason to risk further injury to get a few more reps after 3 or 4 guys left iwth injuries.

All in all  - just fine. Wilson looked fine. Injuries sucked. But the coaching  related  stuff is very encouraging.  Few penalties,  few mental errors - losing physical  battles is one thing that happens when you're playing  catch up in terms of talent,  but not giving games away is big. This team's history  has been to lack talent AND give games  away. Maybe we are leaving both those traditions behind.

Best part of today was both teams getting out of it fairly healthy. I love that Matt feels playing starters at all in the preseason is pointless. I get that some teams do things differently, but I like the cautious approach to the preseason.

Based on what I saw last week and today, I am more comfortable with White running the offense.  Although he took a couple pretty good shots, so I think Morgan will get plenty of opportunity on Friday against Philly.

Either way, if anything happens to Zach, we are screwed.

I think we'll carry 3 QBs (especially now with White's injury, and assuming he's not IR'd), but I was really hoping Morgan would solidify himself as a the backup. He hasn't.

Sure but doesn’t change the fact JD completely whiffed and wasted a 4th rounder on a guy who doesn’t belong in the league

Good game for Wilson I only recall one bad throw today. Like to see some longer passes. We know that Darnold though inconsistent did have a long game esp with Robby on the roster. When you compare them you’d like to see what Wilson can do down the field. 

Darnell had zero long game. He was almost as bad at going deep as gage I smith

OMG let this go.  Every GM in the league has wasted far higher picks than a 4th rounder and he took a shot on a QB, which is always the right thing to do until you have one (which we might now have).  Seriously this horse is beaten to death.

First it is no injures when the jets had a few, and also in the practice lost a high impact player and now you are bleating 'well injuries happen 'kiddo' we both had them and follow it up with the passive aggressive enjoy the season.

It's a two fold issue wasting a pick on a QB in the 4th AND not using that pick on a large list of really good looking players.

Douglas deserves every bit of grief over that pick.  Credit for good moves and picks and criticism when you screw up.
