Mark Sanchez in a pre-season game, 2011.

Looking at just his rookie year, he had a 65%, 147 yard, 1 TD preseason game in his rookie season.

I have anxiety and it’s in full manifest right now.

Yep he sure did. We also went to back to back AFC championship games. So at least we got that going for us.

For me it’s not that Wilson looked like top 5 qb in the preseason, that gives me some hope. It’s the fact that he looks like a season veteran out there in the limited snaps he has gotten. Full control, feeling pressure, no happy feet making plays. Nothing has been wow look at this kid but then you take the circumstances, top 2 pick from unheard of, to a team with a terrible history of basically everything football, to expectations and then it’s wow. Maybe because we are accustomed to failure

Also I’m only now noticing you picked a Sanchez game when he was in his 3rd season. You trash.

JN deserves a better brand of troll. Try harder.

I literally said that in the post.

I then stated a rookie pre-season performance too.

It’s literally all there in the very first post of the thread. Nothing was hidden.

Yeah that’s a good point.

Thank you.

Or maybe it’s because he was already deemed a bust after four practices? This fan base has been so disappointed and beat down this last decade+ its going to be awhile until we are able to see little things and expect big things. For me at least, any positivity looks a fluke and I’m really good at putting negative contingency on everything “Sure that looked good but..” kinda thing. We will see but I will say the game  doesn’t look too big for Zach and that’s the first step.

You're comparing a third year vet starter to  a rookie in his second ever pre-season, pretty much invalidating the point you're clumsily trying to make, and follow it up with a random stat line without context from 12 years ago. Why?

Think about it.  Maybe take a break, Karen.

No, I mentioned a rookie performance too.

I did go 30/30 for 650 yards and 11 tds with Zach in madden last night, it was a playoff game too! Wake me up when Zach puts up those kinda numbers in real life am I right?!

And this is why a lot of people stopped buying that garbage game . Madden has not been a good game in 10 plus years. I think a Sim Football game would be fantastic though kind of like OOP Baseball.
