Is it reasonable to consider there Reps Wilson is getting vs. other teams 1's quality, game like Reps?  Seems to me these practices are the best simulator of game speed.

They may be the most valuable reps that he gets until the season starts, but you also have to bear in mind that he is not getting hit in practices, so it is not the same as a pre-season game.

Jets in now.

Wilson throws a 10 yard out to Crowder.

Wilson throws a 6 yard slant to Crowder

Wilson was late to see an open Davis on a hitch and threw it outside. Davis started drifting inside right as Wilson threw it.

Wilson sacked and the time expires. Hargreaves over the Jets guard was there too fast for Wilson to make a decision.

Morgan in.

First play a slant to Keelan Cole who had nice separation.

Second play was an overthrow that looked like it was aimed at an Eagles defender. Incomplete.

A quick run to Josh Adams for 8 yards.

Morgan spikes it.

James Morgan throws an almost Int to an Eagles LB who settled in zone in front of the end zone.

DJ Montgomery drops a pass at the goal line on a slant. Morgan was slow on the pass. A half second early he’d have had a bigger window.

False start and then a sack on Morgan who runs into the sack.

So Coach Saleh addressed Becton yesterday during the press conference.

He stated, in no uncertain terms, that Becton’s issues are in no way related to being overweight or conditioning. The issues have to do with missing OTAs and the new scheme, which makes perfect sense. So everyone spewing the speculative bull shale can officially stop talking out their ass

That’s worse actually

Not minimizing these injuries but now that we have the ability to be so plugged into each training camp rep it seems that teams are treating players much like baseball teams treat pitchers...extremely cautiously.  So many players missing time.  In and out of practices.

Is this a Jets thing, a NFL thing...or are we just experiencing a lot of injuries?

I think "load management" is all the rage throughout sports.

A vote of confidence from the HC.  Also known as the kiss of death.

What’s more likely to happen between now and September 12?

Considering the resources available to him as an NFL player and his age, he puts in extra time and he gets into shape?

or

He fixes whatever the other deficiencies are?

 What could it be ?

he isn’t inherently athletic enough or he doesn’t get it?

what else could it be?

he’s had the playbook since February probably
