He’s a convicted Felon.  Say it’s no so Joe.

Hysterical you get 4 thumbs down for honestly answering the question about Klecko: that, PERHAPS, his felony of lying in a Federal court over insurance fraud w/3 months home confinement could play a part in his exemption from the HOF.
sucks, but it is what it is and really the only acceptable rationale as to why he’s not in at this point with lesser candidates already in.

Hill used to get flagged for holding often…

as for Namath? Overrated.
Marino, zero titles, was way better than Eli Manning who won 2.  Winning a SB does not always equate to better football player.  Namath had his moment, but Klecko was a dominant football player.

Hill in a 15 year career started 14 games in a 14 game schedule, 12 consecutive years starting in his second year in the league.  He 2nd team all AFL team for the 60's.  8 consecutive years all 1st or 2nd team AFL.

He's tape in the SB against a great Baltimore D was undeniable.  He was great  and he had longevity.  He's probably the most deserving NY Jet in the HOF including Martin.  Great plus longevity gets you in the HOF.

I met him once in Denver at a Pappadeaux’s Restaurant.  Super nice guy.

Klecko was better.

We’ll just have to disagree on this one.

Gerry Philbin for a short time was better than both of them.  Klecko was better for a lot less time than Hill.  Hill had a better career.
