I mean, in fairness, 6 guys is a rounding error over the timeframe you're evaluating.

haha. Not when you're considering the situation of people thinking the opposite.

THere are many more of course, but not that I'm gonna pull out of my a$$  ??‍♂️

well seen soon but you might have to add Harvey Langi to that list if Bill can teach him how to tackle. if he makes the team today.

Langhi!!!   I was rooting for him to get re signed. So much effort.  hahaha

I actually don't think there are too many more, and I think even the 6, for the most part, aren't people the "fans ran out of town," as the narrative goes.  I think most wanted Woodhead to stick, for example.  Re: Davis, I think most recognized he was at least a solid player, but at the time, it was questionable re: giving him a 2nd contract.  He became a great player much later in his career.

@Jet Nut is beyond taking to on this. He believes in captain Morgan lol

Let him have his moment

Yeah, I picked him to us in the 4th before the draft.  I followed a few games of him and thought he was worth a shot.  We'll see he may or may not pan out.  Thats how the draft works.  Who'd you have in the 4th?  No one, nice

You on the other hand just whine about a player in his first camp, basically a rookie and pretty much every other Jet move JD makes.

And for some dumb as reason, theGoochJR @Fantasy Island gave it a thumbs down

I don't feel comfortable discussing this situation with you.

I have Hipaa rights you are violating.

Your mind is obviously  in the gutter and demented that you would even mention my butt in the first place.

Reminder if you attend the JetNation tailgate do not turn your back on @Jet Nut

This is exciting

Let me have my moment!

I assume that he will be doing some work on the cover teams to take over for Vyncint.  He didn't play on them until the last few games, but he could be decent.  The general emphasis on team speed and versatility should make for plenty of good special teams candidates.  It should be interesting.  I assume he is still on the bubble and likely to go when they start with the waiver claims.

For the first time maybe in 20 years or more, I am completely comfortable with whatever JD and Saleh decide to do with the roster. @GREENBEAN said something similar in one of his YT videos.

The way I look at it, we have a CEO style head coach that has bluntly and said repeatedly in crystal clear terms that he prefers young players over non elite players because he can coach them up and they have more raw athleticism. I have held this view for so long and posted here often my feelings on this which not many agree with as I think it especially applies to QBs even the backups.

JD has a coach that he has a clear shared vision with. JD is still learning and has made missteps, but his philosophy and strategy have become very clear and it is the direction I prefer and that is to protect Zach and give him as many weapons as possible.  We likely face a future where pour offense will generally be better than our defense which will be hard on many Jets fans.

Our previous GMs and coaches clearly and strongly preferred veterans and did not look towards developing for the future. Bowles was especially bad. In addition up until JD we have literally not understood positional value. They literally made horrible decisions on players over and over and completely ignored the OL and offense really in general.

Whatever these guys decide I am OK with because I think they know more than me. In the past I did not feel that was true because their priorities were all out of whack

The youth movement is very real around here .  I think it's the right thing. We just have to know as fans that we're gonna have some serious mistakes out there.   The other thing is actually having the right young guys to build with.  I like some but am sketchy about others.

But I fully support the overall philosophy

Why did Yeboah and Adams get waived and we still have Zuniga and Davis.  Egocentricity

How do you know that we still have Zuniga?  Did the final cuts come through yet?  Where are they?

Nah that would be @dbatesman, @TeddEY@Creepy Lurker and @T0mShane, among a few others.  I was in the next wave of Macc haters.

But thank you all the same!

You're still angry at me, aren't you...

Do I count as a latecomer, seeing how I started with his ludicrous "competitive rebuild" spending spree in early March, 2015.

The fact that zuniga made the team is outrageous

He might have made it only for one day and then gets put on IR.  Players have to be on the 53 to be put on IR and eligible to return in the season.  Expect at least a few players to fall in this category (e.g., J. Davis).

I said "among a few others".  Those 4 were the first ones to come to mind.  Relax.  lol.
