Speaking of Aboushi....

Along with him Dakota Dozier and Brian winters are all still in the league.

Reason number 201 why Idzik was indeed far better than stinko McCagnan

Matt Slauson was the most regrettable cut on the OLine when they decided to keep Vlad Ducasse.  Slauson became a Pro Bowler in Chicago.  Then I think Ducasse left and also ended up playing like another 8 years in the NFL. lol

We're talking about 5 or 6 former Jets finding teams to play for in the NFL as the Jets continued to field a mediocre line.  It's mind boggling.

Josh Johnson was the best backup qb on the roster. Both white and Morgan are not good. Would almost be indefensible to keep them both on the roster.

I'm with you.  It should be Zach Wilson, Josh Johnson then either one of White or Morgan.  I honestly think Morgan in a PS guy right now but he could get plucked.  I recall the Patriots wanted him at one point.  Would they go Mac Jones, Cam, James Morgan in NE?

At some point they have to have enough tape on Morgan to know if he can play.  If they're willing to expose him to the waiver wire, they shouldn't care if he gets claimed.

I'd be fine cutting Morgan and not putting him on the practice squad, but they would probably want to stash him for another year.

White seems like he has potential but I'd rather Josh Johnson be the backup this season.

Josh johnson turns 1000 this year... so ....

Some random person on Twitter isn’t a a legitimate source

With respect, that's not just some random kid. He's very connected and has press access to the Jets camp. He also runs almost monthly signings with Jets players, former and current.  That's quite the connected young man.

That’s what it’s come down to.

Man, over the decades, our franchise has been subjected to some of the the worst QBs imaginable.  Nothing against Johnson (a lament from my dating days), but the guy throws a few balls against scrubs in a preseason game and excitement ensues.  Stop it.

All three of our backups should be cut.  Sadly though, they're all JD has left us with.  Good luck hoping White or Morgan can actually win a game if Zack goes down.

We focus on the bad starters, the guys drafted high, but also those backups.  Just awful. You’d think that simply based on the law of averages that even accidentally they’d hit on a decent one.  But no.  Truth, they haven’t drafted a decent qb since Pennington, he’s the only one who has proven to be above average at any time.  Maybe wilson breaks the trend.  Also makes me wonder if the jets overall talent besides qb has been closer to average than i thought, but with the bad coaching and qb play they just couldn’t overcome it.

Agree on everything but Morgan. He has  potential that White can only dream about. The Jets know that and will not give up on him. If he gets waived, they will lose him. I think both White and Johnson go, keep Morgan, and they wait for final cuts and bring in a vet to back up Zack. We keep 3 QB’s.

It’s not excitement. Johnson has 8 career starts and was in San Francisco last year

White and Morgan have never thrown a pass in an NFL game.

Its more like a test of JDs common sense.
