2. Not only did the guy not care that he was spamming the board and causing me aggravation on chemo day, he continued to troll the site. He has no way of doing this but over the weekend as we were putting our dog down I was getting alerts from tweets and new accounts that he was spamming us with.

DWC - grow up. You said you only went at people who attacked you. B.S., you have annoyed the entire board. You have brought down the level of conversation here by being thin skinned. Your antics the last few days proves it.

Exhale and get a grip. This isn't real life, this is a bunch of people talking about Jets football.

Unfortunately, I don't have access to it any longer since it's been deleted.  There's no more back-end.  As such, I don't think you can refund through GoFundMe.

From memory, there definitely was not a $207 donation.  Though he could have made multiple donations, of course.  I'd also say there weren't multiple from Philly Phill or anything like that.  I'd have remembered and I saw the names behind "anonymous."  I also don't recall in the thread him saying anything like, "I just donated again," and lets be honest, he shares every thought he had - the kid shared his haul from Ashley Furniture here - I doubt very much he'd have done it and not said as much.

I think the only thing he could do is click on "My Donations," I believe, and it shows everything you've contributed, and where.  But, honestly, we all make choices in life, with money or otherwise, that for one reason or another, we regret later.  If he thought giving a gift to you and your family during this time, entitled him to a free reign of the board going forward, perhaps this will just have to serve as a life lesson to him.  The fact that he states you "took advantage of him" is a pathological level of narcissism and paranoia.  I hope, in this case, he realizes the bad choices he made are the more recent ones, but that will take time.

To DWC - Let it go.  Walk away.  Look inward.  Grow up.

After not following any of the ins-and-outs which must have lead up to this thread I approached the whole thing with a bowl of popcorn and a "this is gonna be good" frame of mind and, at least in the beginning, it did not disappoint.

Max's posts were a rude awakening and a reminder for those who would hide behind the partial anonymity of message board attacks that there are things in the real world which are way more important than the deranged machine gun fire from someone who is clearly not a happy person.

DWC, please take your punishment like a man and seek life elsewhere.  I was one who tried not to pile on when the temptation to do so was very strong.  You need to look yourself in the mirror and ask why it is that you find yourself constantly in so many viscous fight all of the time.  There is only one consistent factor in all of these things and that is your involvement.

In any event.  Max, your team has done the right thing here.  Maybe long overdue or maybe just at the right time.  Who knows? But the decision was a good one I think and maybe it lets DWC get himself a fresh start somewhere else.

We never do this, so locking this thread is absolutely the right thing to do.

That said this guy said some pretty horrific things about me and my family. Tried to publicly call me a thief and wanted to bring down the site.

I'm not an angry person, but this guy got me close. So I'm opening up some people can leave their comments for a little while longer.
