Rikishi
For the 20th anniversary of 9/11. If you recall Jets were on primetime vs the Cowboys on the 10 year anniversary. I understand both teams haven’t been great, but it’s still another stupid move by the league. 2

nycdan
Jets, Giants, Panthers, Broncos. 18 combined wins in 2021. Chiefs had almost that many by themselves.
BigRy56
The Jets are coming off a 2 win season and the Giants are one of the least interesting teams in the league

UntouchableCrew
I'm assuming this is a troll post but the answer is that both teams have been among the worst in the NFL for half a decade. Honestly, there were a couple years there where the Giants sucked and they were still in primetime constantly. Thankfully they've finally adjusted. Albaniajet
Jets or giants on MNF would have been nice the Jets did play the cowboys on MNF on the 10th anniversary of 9/11 after all

To me having us all together watching football in a 75K stadium is a big FU to the terrorists.

The spotlight should be on NY on the 20th anniversary of 9/11.

Jets vs Pats are always a draw. so are Giants vs Cowboys. regardless of the records. but as someone mentioned, they don't play on Saturdays. but next year it falls on a Sunday. thats really when one team should get it. Maybe because they were a playoff team 10 years and deserved to be on prime time. Not too many people want to watch a 2 win team on prime time. Dunnie
As if watching the mayor and forner governer isnt enough to ruin the name of NY you would like to present the ultimate Toilet Bowl to the world.Sent from my SM-G950U1 using Tapatalk

doitny
are you guys watching the Mets-Yankees game? really nice how there doing it. maybe next year when Sept 11 falls on a Sunday we could have a Jets-Giants game. or a Jets-Pats game which was the 1st game after the attack. if they do it the same as tonights game where they had Torre and Valentine throw out the 1st pitch. . interviewing guys like Torre and Piazza. Smoltz who is calling the game was there to as a Brave. just saying it would be nice to see the same with the Jets. maybe bring back Herm Edwards who won his 1st game. bring back old Jets like Vinny and Mo. Curtis Martin... MLB does this stuff every year. the NFL doesnt do it like that. maybe because both the Jets and Giants were on the road the 1st game after 9-11. the Mets were the 1st NY team to play in NY after the attacks.
