Jets Parking Question

Hi folks,

Im attending the Titans game on Oct 3rd. In the past, I've always been able to buy parking permits on ticket exchange by Color and I could use the maps on the team site to ID where I wanted to be.

This year all I see are permits priced as General Admission and CCPark. Am I looking wrong or are the former Green and Orange parking permits now CCPark (and way more expensive?)

Thanks!

They changed it around a bit, this page of ours has the new map. And parking is very expensive on the secondary market now.

Basically you have platinum and gold lots now. They got rid of the third tier (Orange).

Only 2 parking pass options.

the inner ring closer to the stadium - Silver pass

Everywhere else which is the Gold pass

so you now choose between 2 options.

I believe you still need a pass otherwise they send you to Siberia.

Oh man. I remember parking in Siberia for a Monday night game with the Vikings when Favre went there after leaving us. The game was stop and start with thunder and lightning and it took eternity to get to our car afterwards!

Torrential rain and lightening that delayed the game start time. It was worth it the wait to see the Jets defeat & exact revenge to Favre the Fibber

Also, is there now no ability to pay for parking at the stadium without a pass? I thought I read that somewhere but not sure.

You need a prepaid pass or you are sent to an offsite lot somewhere in East Rutherford.

And now with only 2 parking tiers, those with Gold passes are going to face competition for parking spaces and tailgates like never before.  Used to be that season ticket holders had plenty of spots waiting for them because daytrippers were forced into remote lots by Pegasus, American Dream, and the Giants building.  But now they are allowed to park where the season ticket holders are, they’re all Gold now.

And complicating matters, in the past, daytrippers who got stuck in the remote lots, and especially the parking deck, couldn’t tailgate.  Now as members of the Gold lots they can.  Watch for a crush of new daytripping tailgaters forcing season ticket holders out.

Get to the stadium earlier than you’re used to if you’re Gold.  Or you’re going to be crying the blues about being shoved in terrible lots with a trunk full of spoiled meat.

just another  kick in the balls that  the organization could get away with to fans who purchased a PSL , but not a 'club PSL'.

The tickets next to mine opened up this year - I knew the guy was giving them up - and when I contacted the team about buying a few games so my family of 4 could go to a few games ('I've had my two seats since I was  24 and in the old stadium) they said they were holding those seats for 'potential PSL buyers'.

That's just the tip of the iceberg.

The Jets discontinued PSL's heading into 2017 because they couldn't find any buyers.  We'd just been through the Fitzpatrick catastrophe, we were officially 'rebuilding', and now the PSL seats were offered up just like regular season tickets.

But that's not the long term vision.  That's just a short-term situation.  If/when the Jets turn things around the Jets will open up all those ex-PSL locations as PSL's again and give those who got them 2017-2021 the right of first refusal before eviction.

Thank you! I have platinum parking, but can't go this week. Sold that few days ago. A friend just told me he was invited to a suite from a work thing, but he thinks he needs to pay his own parking. I was wondering if I should advise him to pay above face value on the aftermarket or pay when he gets there. I'd have given my pass to him had I known he was going (...though those passes sell for lots on stubhub, which softens the blow of not being able to go this week a bit...)

Happy to help, Cornfed.  There is no "pay when he gets there" to my knowledge.  If you do not have a prepaid parking pass you are escorted to the access road and sent on your way to the remote lots somewhere in East Rutherford, probably need to take an Uber to get to the stadium.

He should go to Stubhub now and buy a pass.  Platinum if he can swing it, Gold if not.

Thank you, again. I'll tell him to get a pass. Also, htf does he not get parking along with that suite invitation? Every time I've ever been lucky enough to get a suite invitation via work....to whatever sport and venue....there was always some parking option included. Usually, a really good one. I'll also make sure he's just not missing that!
