Lol. The Saints stuffed the Panthers running game today. It was the passing game with Darnold at QB that won that game.

As I typed earlier

RunCMC on the day =

24 rush 72 yards and a Touchdown

5 Rec for 55 yards

and a spy and full box anytime he’s on the field but yes He DIdnT Do NoThING IT WaZ DARNOLD

Zach Wilson is a bust and a half     Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app

Moving on from Darnold was 100% the correct decision. Time will tell if Zach was the correct replacement, but moving on was the right idea for the Jets and for Darnold.

I don't know about keeping darnold but the Jets 100% should have gone out and got a starter calibre vet like a Dalton or Mariota or such , they had the cap space they should not have done the often re

Nah, you guys win every offseason championship. No other team has won as many.

We have the present and future set at QB.

I am sorry, but you aren't qualified to evaluate QB's. You had Zach Wilson in the Hall Of Fame a month ago. Now sit down little mad one.

Jordan Love has been learning from A-Rod for 2 yrs now. He is exactly where we want him to be in his development.

We would never throw a QB out there early and ruin him like you are and have with Zach and Sam. Thank god Sam escaped just in time.

Good luck with all that.

Patience?! If this fan base wants patience, they’ll go to hospital.

The impatient judge Wilson’s career on every pass. The more patient ones render their verdict after a half. The more wise ones judge his career after a game.

You just can’t keep doing this. Continue starting over, drafting young QBs without building a team around him, then beating him down coming off the field when he’s already getting beat on the field.  No matter how tough he is, why boo your own guy after the second game…..knowing what BB does to rookie QBs?

Be better, Jet fans.  Good luck.

He averaged 3 yes a carry. If you take away two big gainers when the game was almost over, he did not nothing today as a runner. You can make that argument about other QB's. Would Josh Allen be as good as he was last year without Diggs. Take Kelce and Hill away from Mahomes, and see if he is the same QB.

Sam was always good enough to beat scrubs. wait till he plays a real team.

they have Dallas in 2 weeks.

lets see how he plays against TB twice, Buffalo, Miami, Pats, Arizona, Giants, Washington .Minnesota

That is a specious argument, sir.

I just wanted to say specious today.

USC fans quite literally booed the Trojans off the field last week.

Sam is your past, you people need to support your young QB…..seriously, booing him?  Kid has talent, but he’s not a miracle worker.  Be patient, your franchise chose to start over, you have to man up and take your lumps.
The Jets did Sam a great favor, I choose  to think he was traded to Carolina because your FO wanted to make sure he was also traded to the best place for him.

Sam has never said one negative word about his time in NY, not the franchise, coaches or fans.  He took all the blame. It would be nice if you just pretend you never drafted him.

Darnold beat the boys in 2019. A 24-22 win, Sam had a good day - 22/32 338 2TD, INT.

The crazy thing is Jets fans acted like Sam was worse than Ryan Leaf.  He played ok with no supporting cast and horrible coaching

And now we have to wait 5 years before being able to say Zach Wilson isn’t good

How does that matter? He wasn’t even .500 in turnover ratio as 3rd year pro lmfao

If he was any good he would elevate the players around him, not need an all star team

Somehow 80 year old Joe Flacco went 6/3 with those same weapons

You do the math

How many games did Joe win with those same "weapons"?

You do the math

So in other words, you're waiting for him to lose so you can get up on your soapbox and say "see? See?  I told you so!!  I'm a smart person!!!"

Come on, man....

So then Macc Jones played better than Russell Wilson this weekend. Interesting view point.

This is absolutely correct.  You can't give a second contract to a QB whose ceiling is 10th to 15th best in the league.  You will be condemned to mediocrity.  This is true regardless of whether Zach proves to be the guy.  ( I do think he will be good, though.)

Dude, it's one effing game.

You will notice in many others posts, I have not written him off or called him a bust.  Just simply, he's exactly what I thought he was and that is, far far far from ready to be playing in the NFL.

Are you going to boo your next USC Head Coach of the field in week 2 or...????

Sam Darnold, Carolina Panthers - 15% rostered

Jets fans, feel free to burn Adam Gase at the stake. Darnold has already shown more progress in two games as a Panther than he did in three years as a Jet. It's very early but his 68.4% completion percentage is by far a career-best, he's only been picked off once, and his team is 2-0 heading into a Thursday night matchup with Houston. We might be setting ourselves up for a letdown in this instance but Darnold sure looks legit thanks to Joe Brady's tutelage.
