Help the Qb- Do we call any screen plays?

Recommended Posts

seems like none all year? That’s a great way to slow the defensive rush down .

help the QB please with these one read plays. Jet sweeps with forward shovel pass is nice also. It’s a pass so if dropped just incomplete.

the bootleg is nice but Zach needs to hit the underneath man when it’s there. Easy 6 yards.

oh well. What do I know

We called three today.  One went for a decent gain, another was an errant pass thrown in the dirt, and the last one was thrown in a way that the receiver had no chance of getting YAC.

We need a decent tight end or two. Bb got two decent tight ends for Mac Jones and he might not look super exciting but he is completing dink and dunk plays and his stat bar isn't suffering which is good for the development of a young QB.

One decent TE would be helpful, but Joe Douglas cut Ryan Griffin and Daniel Brown, and then signed Ryan Griffin and Daniel Brown to fill in those two holes.

ZW was dog sh*t

It really is this simple.  The way Wilson played today, we were not beating anyone.  That happens sometimes with a rookie QB.  Pats did nothing special, just took the game we handed them.

Curious to see how he bounces back next week.

Looked like he was not climbing the pocket  and making crips throws

all back foot throws

hope that’s not how we ruin him

Just gonna echo what everyone said. Wilson sucked today. The loss is entirely about a rookie being overwhelmed by a good defense and a great game plan. I believe he can improve from here, but it’s all on Wilson.

The team didn’t do anything. He just got beat mentally until it manifested physically.
