kevinc855
What’s the plan?! Seriously been asking this for 3 years with ridicule till the last few weeks people started taking notice. We have stripped this team of any talent at all justifying it with “draft capital” Well how’s that working out for us? We have gutted all veteran talent with trades or cuts for “cap space” Well how’s that working for us? We decided to throw a QB on an NFL field without a real oline and zero mentorship with a veteran. Well how’s that work out for us? This “rebuild” is failing. The boo birds were out in game 1 of 9 home games. The Jets cannot continue to put garbage on the field and get a pass yet again how some “rebuild” plan we never see the results from. I seriously don’t know or understand the “rebuild” 14

ScarletKnight89
There were so many players in Free Agency who were available who could have helped us this year lol. But because they aren't draft picks, the Jets seem uninterested in most of them. Very frustrating. This is looking like another long year. At some point the team has to win or the people making the decisions have to be held accountable. Since next year is only going to be Wilson's second year, whats the amount of wins we can expect? 5? This is garbage.

Popular Post kmnj
you build a roster through the draft and through FA-Joe drafts badly and gives away our free agents and trades our talent away and does not replace them or improve upon them I get it nobody wants to admit we are repeating history yet again but we are-we also are once again setting up our first round QB to fail -I would sit Wilson before he is ruined -this year is a loss anyways -we are going to be lucky to win 3-4 games- the sad thing is the jets can't even sit Wilson because they don't have a viable back up that can play 4

MC1, MC2, Moore, Hamsah, AVT, Wilson are all starters. I have concerns about the team but yesterday was probably the worst Wilson will play in his whole career and he alone cost us the game. The OL played well, the defense was as good your gonna get considering how inept Wilson was. JFM, Huff, Hall are all good players at key positions on defense. 13

Popular Post sec101row23
Actually, the “rebuild” is working exactly as the Johnson brothers have hoped it would. A rebuild keeps fans hopeful while accepting losing. The perennial mantra of “hey we have a top 3 draft pick and $80M in cap room, oh the possibilities” is the ultimate rebuilding mindset. It’s exhausting, wake me up when it becomes about the wins and losses, because this perennial rebuilding has run its course. 7
Popular Post Claymation
This year is a learning one for Zach, and if he's worth his salt, he'll get better as the season goes along. That's what a rebuilding year is. The Jets had more total yards than NE, more rushing yards, more passing & better at 3rd efficiency. The difference was Zach threw 4 interceptions. They lost the turnover battle 4-0. NE fumbled twice yesterday, one they recovered and the other the referee called the receiver down. Zach's passes were consistently high & missed quite a few open receivers. It's up to Zach and the CS to fix that. 12

Kev? People been questioning this perpetual re-build for a decade. Adams and Leo were addition by subtraction. Paying then a kings ransom wasn’t ever going to help this team be a sustainable winner. Yet, Draft picks are only good if you draft good. Ughh!!! Jets are historically bad at drafting and seems Joe so far is sadly living up to tradition. Can’t think of anymore “ talent we stripped.” Getting draft picks is good, drafting bad is bad. Being in good cap health is good unless you suck and don’t win. I will literally eat the left shoe of the next person that tells me. “ We aren’t in win now mode!” GFY! Winning is a habit-period. The idea of a veteran mentor is an old wives tale. Doesn’t exist, just cool way for old QBs who suck can get paid nicely to feign friendship. We needed a guy that can play football if Zach couldn’t. Zach should have gotten a breather after his 3rd pick yesterday. Let him think about it, let it slow down. Big miss not bringing anyone in by this front office. O line was hardly the problem yesterday. Let’s wait till next week to blame them, Zach just sucked yesterday, period. The rebuild is nothing more but than a word the Jets use for we are gonna lose a lot because we suck strongly at everything good NFL franchises do well. I do think Saleh has potential as a man, leader and coach but that’s honestly yet to be seen. Boo Birds! Fans have been let down and literally hornswoggled by this franchise as a primary operation function. I agree Kev!!! Has to stop!! Good first step? Augustiniak
I thought yesterday was a very winnable game. The score only reflects the difference in turnovers. Wilson thought he could rifle the ball into any small area and he was wrong. He thought he could force the ball to davis and he was wrong. He had a quote from training camp that he wanted to see what he could get away with and that’s why he had some ints in camp. Well, he did it again vs NE. The first 2 picks were so easily avoidable. Don’t force it to davis over the middle in double coverage and throw it to the underneath guy in moore and take the easy yards. Simple lessons, but the jets have a very aggressive qb who needed a game like this to help convince himself he can’t do that. otherwise, lots of rooks played well. If the geniuses actually played mims it would look even better.

Popular Post #27TheDominator
Tear it all down and start over! I'm tired of these half-assed rebuilds with a bunch of veterans. The Jets finally tear it all down and start over. Why are they so bad? This is a young team with a complicated system. They are learning. The camp/preseason is abbreviated compared to the past. It will take time for them to get on the same page and for the coaches to know what isn't working and what is just a single player making a simple correctable mistake. Some of our players that seem to offer something are probably the biggest offenders. Mims probably isn't getting on the field because he doesn't know what he is doing. Ty Johnson messed up at least one protection yesterday. The lines and back of the D need to work as a unit which isn't happening. Did anybody doubt that Bill Belichick is a scumbag would own a kid playing his 2nd NFL game out of BYU? My friend (Viking fan) just complained about the Jets to me. I told him, I know the Jets as well as anybody. Didn't you notice I started the Pats D? For me, this was all expected and I still have a pretty rosy view of the potential of this group. Yes, the 2020 draft seems weak, but Becton and Mann were contributing before the injuries. They had a bunch of injuries at specific positions and a few guys are playing that only joined the team in September - Redwine, Colbert, Shaq Lawson, Quincy Williams. I don't like to tell people how to fan, but if you expected this team to get off to a hot start you are a delusional homer. Suck it up, buttercup. It'z always darkest before the dawn. Yes, this was disappointing and the fact we suck doesn't mean that we will be good next year, but nothing I have seen means we won;t. If you thought on August 20, 2021 that this team would compete in 2022, there is no reason to change that view IMO. 6 1
