Picking higher in Rd 2 can very well be the difference between a Dalvin Cook or a Stephen Hill. we haven't hit on a 2nd rounder in like a decade. doesn't matter where we pick

You can't let the franchise's history impact your judgment on the importance of draft capital. Once we DO start hitting on some of those picks, WHERE you pick does indeed matter. And if we're never going to hit on our picks, then might as well close up shop and contract the franchise. There would be no hope regardless. Until such time as the team is contracted, I will continue to assume that accumulating a lot of picks tends to be a good thing, and also assume that higher picks are always better than lower picks. Though I imagine it would be the end of the road for JN, too, and that would be an actual travesty.

Now 20 points through 8 quarters still creates a losing football team. Let Ulbich run the ofense as well. Could he possibly do any worse than LePuke. Embrace the Suck
The D is playing with rookie backups starting for other rookies, and everyone is in the first year of the system. Not a bad start at all; in fact it's pretty damn good. Once the O gets going, even a little is more than none, the team will look far more respectful.
