……wins didn’t not matter this year?

First thing I said when I heard that garbage was , yeah 👌 ok, let’s see what happens when we are 0-4. People will be jumping off bridges.  It didn’t even take that long.   I’m not fazed and not panicking. The year the niners  turned it around they started off 0-9.    And that’s about the time this year that  I am looking for the jump in this team.  And if you thought were going to make a statement yesterday, that wasn’t the game it was going to happen. Probably the hardest place to win in the entire league.  So I got news for you, the coach and the GM are not on any hot seats.  So your screaming at the wall

And now we will have people backtracking and claim they never said that .  Nice 👍

true statements.  they are a young team and need to learn how to play the game.  but at the same time they laid out some serious cash for a guy like davis and he hasn't shown much since the first game.  i'm not on the mims band wagon but it also looks like he'd be a better matchup than throwing cole or graham or moore.  and if davis isn't catching the ball mims might just do better.  and it's still obvious a lot of problems are from the qb spot.  sure the oline still doesn't pass protect very well but wilson has been holding onto the ball too long leading to a bad throw or a sack.  he was doing pretty well when he had some short pass schemes going.

This is what’s bothering me. They look inept and incompetent. Empty backfield on 3 short yardage plays was sooooo stupid. The little boy offensive coordinator is gonna get Zach killed during his internship

Yeah, that was pretty bizarre. Like an instructional video of what not to do in that situation.

The GM can’t draft but his plan is to rebuild through the draft… Go figure

You aren’t watching the games. I think The whole idea winning doesn’t matter is assinine but staying with you for a moment, it’s the way they are losing.

They are completely lost, inept, penalty ridden. This false hope that the November winds will cure this team is as realistic as me thinking I’m Gona hit the lotto.

Rarher then falsely praying for some magic game in week 9 the team should reset. The roster is what it is at this point. It’s a disaster. But you gotta adjust the play calling, clean up the penalties, and figure out if keeping Zach in for 17 games is actually helpful to the team and him. This is a team. No year is for any player.

This

At least in Jacksonville, contrary to popular belief Lawrence has had good protection overall and decent play calling.

Lawrence is just as dumb as a box of rocks, reminds me a lot of Jamious.

The NYJ are getting Zach killed and destroying this kid, he literally is a different QB today then he was game 1

If Lawrence ever have a meltdown or suffers a serious injury, Jacksonville has a NFL caliber backup QB

And how can you not call timeout before that field goal? It was only 7-0. I don’t care if it’s the snappers fault, wtf was Mr all gas looking at?

Coming within 4 points of his opponents during a game may have been little too big a situation for him this early in his career. Choked .

At this moment it feels like the Jets are hopeless with no end in sight. Jets are even worse than the Lions. 0-17 is a real possibility.

Like many have said, it's the way they're losing/the way they look.  I had the team winning 4/5 games, so the losses dont bother me but what I'd love to know is; has this team set a record and not in a good way but has any team ever started the season and after 3 games and only have 20 total points?

dont bother pal. these guys are gone. guys like us might have to take a break from the board for a while cause SAR just got 1000 new members to his hate JD club.

every thread, every post will be negative. any positive posts will be killed.

they cant lie and say JD is the worst and not root every week for anything he did to fail so that maybe Woody will get rid of him before the next draft.

and none of them want to backtrack in December and say they got it wrong.

Its the hope that kills you. The hope that this group of GM, HC, OC, QB will be the right ones. The early signs are as bad as can be, and I think we were all buying that hope that yeah the team would lose but we would have some fight. We wouldn't be miserable even before kick off, and that's not the case.

20 points in 3 games.  Our O is pass heavy and averaging 4.1 yards per play.  When I say pass heavy we are 16th in passing attempts and 29th in rushing attempts. We have 7 INT's and our opponents have zero in 3 games.   Our rookie QB has been sacked 15 times in 3 games.

By game 9 Zach Wilson is likely to be on IR.

The year SF started off 0 and 9 CJ Beatherd started 5 went 1 and 5 before being carted off, followed by Bryan Hoyer who went 0 and 6.  When Jimmy Garapollo was put in after the 0 and 9 start they ripped off 5 straight wins.

We are doing nothing at all that resembles what SF did in 2017.  In 2017 SF wasn't shut out at any point.  In game 3 they put up 39 on the Rams with Bryan Hoyer at QB.

Anybody who said that was kidding themselves - of course the wins matter. Now I didn't need to see a winning record this year, but it would have been real nice to hove closer to .500. At the rate we're going, it's looking like we may not even be close. That's when we have a problem IMO

I don't think people are concerned about the losses so much as the fact that we haven't been competitive for a single second.

This is unfair.  We were competitive in the Carolina game for the six seconds it took to run the onside kick.

I'm not jumping off any bridges.  I'm just disappointed.

While I did not expect many wins, I did expect to be competitive and respectable in our losses.

So far, not so much.  We look as bad or worse than we did under Gase to-date.

I agree.  Not in 2021 they're certainly not.
