Our players seems to be more mad at us than the teams that are actually whopping there ass every Sunday.

resenting the fans when you are this bad isn't going to make it better. Between this and the Center popping off...pretty disappointed in Saleh so far managing this stuff.

A lot of our fans act like these players want to lose ... they don't.

We chase people out of town and wonder why FAs don't come here.

We are a bad football team with a rabid fanbase who seems to expect results even though their is no real reason to expect anything.

If you can't get over the fact we are a bad team until proven otherwise go into hibernation, those of us who enjoy torture will wake you up when we're a decent football team.

We haven't won a Super Bowl in 52 years.

The team has been in hibernation since then.

I might be dead by the time they win anything.

Fans support this team by buying PSL's/season tickets/merchandise

BEAUTIFUL!  I watched a total of about 7 quarters of football last year.  I have watched that already, but will probably not watch much more until maybe the end of the year.  Rookie GM, Rookie coach, rookie OC, rookie DC, rookie QB, and people are ready to throw them out after a few games.

Turn the television off, come back in about year 4 of this regime.  IF they still suck, then lets talk about changing things.

No, Suckers buy PSL's, season tickets and merchandise.  Stop doing that and the owners sell because they lose money.  As long as people pack the stands for anything, they couldn't care less.

Put me on IGNORE if you cant handle the truth.

Read what QW said sorry you bought his jersey.

Did you see him celebrating a sack yesterday while we were losing.

Maybe he should show up for the entire game.

QW is standing up for a teammate and somehow you have a problem with that and want to lecture him for it.

Seriously, what would satisfy some? Him ripping on Wilson or any other teammate(s) by name?

The f*** kind of question is that for a DT? Any fool knows fans - fans of any team in any sport at any level - will be unhappy with their team following up an 0-2 start with a 26-0 shutout. It's on this kid to explain or explain away anything other than his own play needing improvement?

Either he says out loud yeah we suck and the fans are right, says the fans have no right to complain, or he declines to answer (which he did, in so many words, not addressing whether or not the fans have a "right" to be upset since of course they have that right).

That's what makes it baiting: there is no good answer. Smart move is to not take the bait, and decline to answer it by instead filling the air with fluff, which he did.

I did like in the other interview he said he didn't want to talk about his own sacks after such a loss. Good on him.

In real life seems like one those,” man F-U” moments, so Q did much better than I would have.,

The pathetic part is that there are actuality people in this thread who think Q was ripping the fans.

The really pathetic part is they live for this.

Look around, we're left with the same old group, the group I would expect to find after a tough start to the season talking about players that need to go, players we need to get, the CS needing to go and of course the GM has to go for actually trying to start over.   Better yet, those like @Fantasy Island who'll read this and give it a neg rep.  Then again thats what he does, @The Gooch II

Funny how all the preseason talk was of patience and JD doing it the right way, the Johnsons allowing him to as opposed to the way it was done in the past and how its all gone out the window and we're left with Phill under his new name etc, making this board unreadable right now

He’s contractually obligated to talk to the media, in which he answered an inflammatory question fairly well. Not the same realm of McGovern or Van Rotten. The latter is certainly an issue though. If Douglas had done an adequate job with the roster, he wouldn’t have even been starting. But maybe give Saleh more than 24 hours to manage that stuff.

No shlt Joe, none of us have.

Stop making it out to poor old Joe and HIS lack of SB wins/

And you dont support this team by buying PSL's/season tickets/merchandise so why complain about it, thats the fans choice, no one twisting their arms

They shouldn’t be saying it to begin with. That’s on the coach.

As an erudite, incredibly sophisticated and may I add handsome man from Manhattan, I abhor Jets fans acting like they were raised in Philadelphia.  Yet strangely I feel like telling Q to STFU.

May I, humbly, suggest employing usage of, say, "stop being such an infernal quim" when addressing Q?

.The only way to force change is stop Financially supporting the team, watching  games,  buying game pass etc. This is all monitored, they will know. Just stop showing up at games if you really want to send a message. Throwing beers and booing only Causes a rift between players and Fanbase. I have no problems with someone booing holding a fire Joe D sign, but booing these young kids trying to do what they are assigned to do is counterproductive. I can see if the team totally quit, but it’s not the case and I am sure they are just as frustrated, then they have to deal with the media jackasses. It s just my opinion. I respect fans right to boo, free country.

This after week three.  Now, there is no doubt this team will implode like the rest we've seen the last few....decades.

I'm taking it upon myself to mail Q some calming balms, elixers and ointments to soothe his tension.   Maybe a nice cookie tray, too.   With plenty of pignoli cookies, not some skimpy supermarket trash.

Lol ! I would personally remove all the pignoli cookies and a few of the 7-layers just to send a message to him .

In all seriousness, I don't see a lack of effort from the players so far. They're playing hard. They're just not a very good team right now.

Hey Quinnen you and  the NY Jets are lucky to still have us loyal resilient NY Jets fans rooting for you losers.

You win you get paid you lose you get paid.

you call this forum "rooting for" the team?

I think Mr. Williams says, "with fans like these..."

And, please, you'd never stay away because this is your life: love/hating the Jets.
