And, really, the player is only affiliated with present Jets team, not the one from 1992 or 2019 for that matter. They don't give a sh!t about what you've endured. Who would want to play for a team with fans that are so bitter and NEVER positive? I know that as a black athlete, the Jets are not at the top of the list for desirable locations.

If the players don't care what the fans think why would what the fans think have to do with players coming to the Jets?  

Jamal Adams is all over social media.  He not only cares what the fans think, he's invested finacially in what they think.  He actually believes by manipulating fans on social media he's worth more money.  He cares a great deal what the fans think.

NY Jets fans that I know myself included would never ever consider supporting another NFL organization. 

We post our opinions our thoughts our feelings for discussion purposes on a message board. 

Agree or disagree we all have our opinions. 

Sadly the players who are getting paid to play the game would rather berate fans on social media than put the effort into tackling or blocking someone on the field. 

Start winning and all this negativity disappears.

And I agree. Nobody is making you watch. And nobody gives a sh!t about how long you've been watching, angry, disppointed, impotent to change it. Not the negative fans, who jump on a rookie at 0-3. Who the **** cares about 'fans' like that?

I'm with you. I was just daydreaming about how pissed I might be If i believed the ridiculous spin from that article. Bad enough there is so much misinformation outside of sports. It would be nice if wasn't a thing here as well.

qwill didn't say anything he's expected or shouldn't say.  he's trying to do what he can to help this team win and it doesn't do any good to assign blame on any particular player or even coach at this stage.  they have 14 more games to play and hopefully we'll see a ton of improvement.  the first few games of any season are really more like extensions of the preseason.  let's see how they are at the break and then by season's end.

but im guessing most vets are in that married with children boat. they probably care more about schools and good neighborhoods than nightlife

Would they? I've been in these rooms after a victory. the same "fans" don't have anything to say. People are either positive or negative. It's not like they are waiting to be positive. Eventually when this team starts winning again you'll find most are happy and mostly positive with a very vocal minority causing much of what you're suggesting.
