Joe Beningo: “Robert Saleh is too nice of a guy”

Maybe too nice and they finish last, but jacka** aren't doing any better.

Basically came out that Brady left NE because BB was a tyrant and treated Brady like a rookie. There is a bulletin board that says something like: The wise old owl doesn't seem so wise without the Goat.

Probably not too relevant to this topic, but I love busting on BB.

Everyone except Chris Johnson knew it was a disaster the moment it was announced

Only Hess and Johnson would target a HC (Kotite & Gase) who had just been fired after a horrendous season/tenure.   And in Gase's case, trashed the owner and left the franchise in smoldering cinders.

This team swings back and forth between coaching personalities like a pendulum.  I seem to write a post like this every couple years.
Mangini - Hard ass, "it's a process," players don't talk to the media, younger face but same Belichick style when he was here. Defensive coach.
Bring in Rex - "We're going to the Super Bowl," guys run through a wall for him, football became fun again....then too fun, he is loud, brash, costumes at press conferences, loose lips on players, no discipline, fist fights in the locker room, foot fetishes, still couldn't locate the offensive meeting rooms in the building in year 3... lots of talk, little winning.  Defensive coach.
Bring in Todd Bowles - The calm, steady hand, players respect him, veterans like him, the team is disciplined and feeling more professional.... but do they care?  Todd... can somebody check for a pulse?  Not much innovation, not the right guy for a declining roster.  Defensive coach.
Bring in Adam Gase -  Thanks Peyton Manning!  Maybe we need an offensive HC for once.  Well, we got one who is very offensive, that's for sure.  Can't connect with players, aloof, "rich as f**k", recycles his past with Frank Gore, unexplainable loyalty to Dowell Loggains, ruins a promising QB because the scheme matters more than the players, etc.
Robert Saleh - Back to defense, but more of a CEO head coach and not buried in one side of the ball.  Motivator, even-keeled despite things burning around him, hasn't really displayed the fire seen previously.  Might still be assessing the kind of team and coaches he has after 3 games but the jury is out.

Seems like a psychological ploy by ownership to quell the fan base for awhile. Hasn’t helped in the winning dept tho.

Woody picked Gase over McCarthy, and then picked Zach over Sam(who he had)

can’t make this up
