1-3 teams: Would you rather have our Roster or ...

Simple question. There are currently 11 NFL teams with at least 3 losses; if the Bucs beat the Patriots, there'll be 4. If you had the opportunity to swap our roster for those other teams', how many would you choose to make that switch?

To me, there are really only 3 or 4 potential choices there:

Minnesota (much better overall roster, but can you win the SB with Cousins?)

Indy (same as Minnesota, but do you trust Wentz?)

Jacksonville (how much more sure of Lawrence are you than Wilson?)

Philly (do you believe in Hurts?

None of the others are even a close question, to me. The QB situations are just too bad (Roethlisburger and Ryan are washed up, Goff and Tua aren't guys you want to ride with, Texans have nothing), the overall rosters aren't meaningfully better than ours (Jones has potential but that NYG roster is trash, Det, Hou, etc.), or both.

Nah, I like our Roster and what they are doing.  None of the others intrigue me as much as what we can look forward to with all the picks and money available coming up.

Honestly our roster is in the best shape right now. We got the (hopefully) young stud QB, tons of draft picks and cap space

I think it comes down to coaches and QBs

In my mind that makes it Indy and NE as the only possible choices

Butt I’d like to wait til end of season to see more of these teams

Minnesota for sure. They have a good roster and Cousins is ridiculously underrated by NFL fans. Of course he could win a Superbowl.

Pittsburgh need a full reset at the QB position and they can’t run the ball. Their defence has been overrated the past few years.

Minnesota and Pittsburgh are perrenial playoff teams. It's a no brainer to want their rosters of we could have them....

i went with jax mainly because of lawrence.  it's not only him but jax has had a history of getting some really good players.  the jets, not so much.  but it does look like the jets have finally got some players that other teams would love to have starting with williams and wilson.

So, for me, I wouldn’t want anyone else’s roster. We have holes everywhere, but we have a future star at QB.

They've had one winning season in thirteen years and their best ever QB by some distance is Mark Brunell.

i get that but they do draft good players.  the question was about the roster.  the problem is jax is coaching.

It is a QB driven league so the only competition is Jax, which is the only team with a dynamic young QB. But I'd prefer the Jets roster because the Jets have 1 win and he Jags have 0, 

 

PS. Shouldn't NONE be an option?

Jaguars have a much better offense than we do imo. Chark, shenault, Etienne, Carlos Hyde, Trevor Lawrence is a good way to start building up an offensive powerhouse. I am not unhappy with our team but I honestly believe right now they have more potential

So many of those teams have a better roster, but only one has a quarterback with as much potential - and that's Jacksonville. 

I'd rather be us than Jacksonville.

Cousins is only 33... I assumed he was closer to 40. Minny is the only roster I would take.

Aside from Minny, I’ll stay with the Jets. Some of these situations are better but not because of the roster. NE, Pitt and Indy are better situations because of the CS. Our coaching staff is unproven.

Of that list, I think only Houston and Miami should be in despair. Well which ever one Watson doesn’t play for next year.

Aside from those two teams, each of those teams has hope.

Yesterday I got down voted  for a lame post to Shuler. I apologized. Had a bad week and was high. Got made because everybody wanted to fire everybody a week ago. Now we have a soon to be elite QB, and a great young roster. Knee jerk reactions turned Gene into a jerk. Sorry. And I deserved the downvotes.
