I was still able to throw it 40-yards as recently as 5 years ago. In my 40’s.

These are pro level QBs. 50-60 yards should be table stakes.

100%.  Look, it was a ******* awesome play.  Loved it.  It was exciting!

Doesnt mean he's one of the only QB's in the world that can do that!!!   I mean, dude, it's literally the definition of hyperbole.  And it's not true, basically all these dudes can do this, its unbelievable how people are acting about this and treating it like it's an insult.  It's ok.  Other people can throw the ball far too!  That doesnt knock Zach down a peg.  He's still a very good QB and very nice young man with a very nice bright future.

The continued insults make your arguments weaker, not stronger.   I suggest you grow up and have a conversation like an adult.

85% of the NFL can make that throw.  I watched Kyle Trask, of all QB's, do the exact same thing last year in college, only, it wasnt a designed roll out and he was throwing across his body ie; a harder throw than what Zach pulled off.  The biggest point you're missing, Jet Nut, is that isnt an insult against Zach Wilson or you for that matter.  It's just stating a fact.  No need to get your panties in a wad over simple facts.

I didnt bring up Fields.  I never do.  That's you.  This time, you and Pac did.  So, I simply commented that he played very well and did what I loved about him as a prospect, pin point ball placement on the long ball from the pocket.  Why you're getting all worked up about this is weird.  You need to grow up dude.  Anytime anyone brings up a single little tiny criticism of Zach Wilson, you start in with your childish "the Fields fans are morons and clueless fools" and then tell me my life is miserable?  You're like a petulant child.

And the hilarity behind your childish little meltdown is, I've said about 20 times and I know you've read these comments, that I'm confident I was wrong on Wilson.  The kid is much tough than I expected and looks to have a ton of potential if he can fix the fundamental stuff, which I'm confident with the right coaching he can.  And that's a good thing because Zach Wilson is the QB of my favorite team and I couldnt give a single solitary **** about Justin Fields.

Grow up.

So perceived meltdowns and childishness behavior makes the argument weaker?

Actually no, that you believe HS QB can make that throw does make yours weaker

You know what makes your argument weaker?  The countless posts putting down Wilson, even tings we all watched him do.  And the even more popular it has nothing to do with Fields replies.   Because yes, I pointed out that the one who disagree, to a man are those of you who didnt want Wilson and wanted Fields.

I didnt come up with no one can make the throw.  I came out with 85% of QB can make it is wrong.  I also said that on a bootleg, seeing the S peel off and instructing the WR to go out and hitting him in stride with coverage and dropping dime in for a TD isnt a lucky play.

You grow up.

I guess the other 85% of the QBs in the NFL that can do that, have the arms to do it, just dont want or need to

Do the 2 of you really not see the difference between that stat and the play we're debating?  Like, you really dont need me to explain this, right?  Not to be insulting, I'd be happy to do it, I just figured, idk, you were smart enough to figure that out?

Please dont explain it.

And another thing, if youre going to cry that you were insulted dont keep repeating that we're not smart enough to figure things out.

The Keelan Cole throw on the right sideline was the same thing. I didn't see it in the broadcast, but he also went long off a corner route when the play broke down. (Around 25 seconds in). I mean, I'm glad he's making them, but getting better at on-schedule plays is way more important for his development right now.

Omg, you're so insulting!!!!   Fields lover much???   Wanted Mac Jones?  ewwwww

The deep corner to Cole in OT was a ridiculous throw and IMO, much more impressive than the play everyone is arguing about.  It's much harder to throw across the field, from the pocket, with that type of precision ball placement on a deep corner than it is throwing the ball as far you can outside of the pocket with time to set your feet and step into a throw that was straight down the hash mark.

Still?

Just because people keep saying he doesn't make the "scheduled" plays doesn't make it true.

He's quite good with the regular stuff too.  The kids' just been getting beaten up with a bad OL and WR's that can't catch.  over 70% completion % if you take away the drops.  Facts actually matter.  Not just talking points from Anti-Zaxers...

When all one can do in a debate is hurl insults like a child, yes, I think calling it a childish meltdown is an accurate description.

I've routinely complimented Zach Wilson and pointed out where I was wrong on him as a prospect. I also point out the flaws I see in his game because I'd like to see him improve in those areas.  I plan on continuing this behavior because it's pretty common message board behavior.  For some reason you routinely ignore the compliment and only focus on my criticism and for some reason it triggers you in very childish way and it's weird.  All you do in defense is hurl insults and bring up Justin Fields who has absolutely nothing to do with this and every time you do, it derails the conversation.  Case. In. Point.

I think we have 2 options.  Stop acting like a child and grow up or just ignore me on this topic.  Not every topic because I love and appreciate you and would miss you way too much.

Your friend,

JiFapono.

Except I didnt.  I pointed out that you and those who complain are the ones who wanted Fields.  Every one complaining.  You were, they were.  It shouldnt derail a thing, its true.  And I dont do it every time no matter how many times you say it

So do what you say, leave the subject alone and move on.  I can, can you?

Who is complaining, Jet Nut?  I dont see anyone complaining.  I've seen a few posters simply say the truth, he needs to get better at the on schedule plays because he does and he agrees.  The good news is, he's a baby.  It's only his 4th game.  It's exciting!  He can get better!  lol

You have some weird Zach Wilson defense mechanism kicking in at any little criticism and it's bizarre, dude, really bizarre. And yes, yes you do.  You do it every single time.

Edit: lol I'm just joking.

I think everyone is close enough to the same page.  I hope you guys are enjoying it though.

There is some good stuff happening and more than enough flashes to make me look forward to seeing the next game.

The difference is, he’s insulting you back - after making his points and you skipping over debate and just being nasty.

Yep, reason is like treason around here.

Okay they all have the same arm talent as Zach Wilson 🤣😂🤣

I didnt say that, I say they could make that throw particular throw/play.

Where would you rank Wilson's arm on the best in the league list?

Do you mean pure arm strength or being able to throw on the run with ease from multiple different angles.  I am sure most NFL QBs given time can step into the throw and sling it a mile but ZW brings more then just that.

Right, on the play being discussed he fully stepped into but anywho give me both...where is Zach in pure arm and angles?
