What's Your "Go-To Vice" After Another Grueling Jet Loss...

Recommended Posts

Mine is chocolatey sweet baked goods...

I'm thinking of a ShopRite run for a large tray of chocolate brownies...

Preferrably with dark chocolate fudge frosting...

But I'll also take them plain...

Since the torture ended earlier today,

I'll have more time to polish that bad boy off...

Thanks, Woody...

I don’t have one. I watch our games, am honest with myself about what I see, post a bit here, then move on.

I have zero influence on the Jets. No sense in letting it torture me.

I'm going to do the same exact thing I did before the game except then I took a nap when I was depressed, so now I'm starting over!

Vodka & Cranberry /Finger foods/ Repeat /Beat the most deserving person in my house/ Make Dinner! Hey this is what Sundays are for right?

Totally with you . I’m 50 , had kids late I have a 7 year old son and 5 year old daughter. Having kids changed it for me , I wasted so many days of my life letting sports teams ruin me .I spent decades losing sleep and pacing the house after bad losses . If islanders game 7 this year against Tampa happens 10 years ago i wouldn’t have slept for a week  I used to laugh at the “ casual fan “..now I am the casual fan and it’s a great feeling . I got the “ die hard sports fan “ disease from my dad .. followed his model ..am actively going to try and make sure it doesn’t happen to my son . I swear it’s a disease . Casual fandom is the way to go . I don’t care who on the board will kick me for it .

I do as many hate crimes as I can squeeze in by 9pm.  Got to be well rested for work on Monday.

Mine just turned 4 and 8.

The last thing I want to do is 1.) not be present with/for them, and 2.) model a behavior that makes anguish and rage over a sport beyond your control an “okay” thing.

Nope to all of that.
