One of the team’s top players thus far, Mosley has a balky hamstring. Robert Saleh says LB C.J. Mosley won’t practice today with a hamstring issue and is day to day. Finally having an impact, the linebacker’s status is up in the air. Should Mosley have to sit, expect to see linebacker Noah Dawkins, who had a solid pre-season with the Jets and has been on the team’s practice squad since the start of the season. The Jets will also be without linebacker Jarrad Davis who was expected to return this week. The absence of Davis will mean another start for Quincy Willlams. It was previously unkown as to how Williams and Davis would share reps. Williams has been a force over the past three weeks, picking up 26 tackles (4 for loss), 2 QB hits, a sack and 3 forced fumbles. If NE can establish the run game it'll open up play action and Jones will pick the Jets apart unless Quincy Willlams has a monster game stopping the run and the offense can put together a few long scoring drives. After seeing Maye decided to sit out until the trade deadline, my first post was Mosely would be the next vet on the Jets to make a business decision.
