It follows a bye week which is a time to reflect especially on the offensive side of the ball. LeFleur is the key today. He has presumably done a lot of soul searching over the last two weeks and it needs to show today. First and 10 cannot continue to be an automatic 2 yard handoff to a running back. He needs to open things up and call plays that will get Wilson off to a good start. Wilson needs to fix the simple things. He needs to calm down and hit the short passes. Period. It has been startling how off his short passes have been. He can help himself greatly by hitting those passes. You're not going to win many games by going off script with 50+ yard bombs. As bad as they are, LeFluer has to figure out how to get the TE involved in the game plan. You have to live or die by the getting Griffen and even Wesco involved. Yes, this position will be fixed in 2022 but you have to go with what you got. Not only are they coming off a bye week but they're playing the Pats for the second time. Wilson needs to be way better prepared for Bellinchik's game plans. That's on the coaching staff. Even one pick will be too many today. More than anything else, LeFleur has to get Elijah Moore involved. Put him in the damn slot and throw him the damn ball. We know he has the talent, now it's time to display it. Another question mark is Mims. I would love to see Corey Davis, Moore, Mims and Keenan Cole in there simultaneously. Either Mims is going to be part of this team or not. Let's find out today.
