Bambi!  Back in those days, when I was a kid, Alworth and Hadl were my two favorite NFL players besides Namath and Maynard.

Thank you but that is not the guy I was trying to remember. The one I am thinking of I believe played for San Diego in the late 60’s and 70’s and ended his career with Dallas. His style of play was very similar to Lance Alworth. I think last name was Garrison

Gary "the Ghost" Garrison. The phrase "Ghost to  the Post" was used with Garrison BEFORE it's reference to Dave Caspar's walk-off catch in the '76 playoffs

I liked KC as a kid, but not like the Jets.  Len Dawson, Jan, Buck, Lanier, the uni’s.  Hank Stram in the suit with the program bunched up in his fist.
