Loved the Mike White Game, But Let's Not Put Him in the HOF Just Yet

Agree with the sentiment of the OP.  I said the same.  Many times we have seen a back-up come in and have a huge game.  This team or that team sees a "sleeper"  and pays to bring him in as a starter.   The story ends the same.  In a few games, they realize why that player was a back-up all along.

That is almost surely going to be the case with White.

One thing I did sort of notice.  His quick delivery and compact throwing motion is similar to that of.

Kurt Warner.

Really... Watch a few highlights from Kurt Warner and they watch White.  Look at the throwing motion.  It's identical.

Classic post.  Mike white is going to fizzle out soon.  Then immediately compare him to Kurt Warner.

To be fair this is the comparison he was talking about

Just look at how that dude is holding that can, soft delivery people just want to buy that soup. Sure one of the cans is a bit skewed but damn just look at those shelves. Warner was a bag boy never quite made up to the level of shelve stocker.

usually it's the opposing team's back up that has a huge game.  but what this does do is cast whole different light on the conventional wisdom of having a real vet as back up.  flacco doesn't win that game especially since he was only signed the monday before even if he did suit up.  neither does johnson.  and it also shows that the best qb's are the ones that make the right on field decisions.  we'll see soon enough if white can back up this performance.

ahh, f it, nevermind

Damn - I bought a bunch of Zach Wilson rookie cards for like 2$ a piece. Now I have to buy some Mike White rookie cards but I just checked on COMC and some of his cards are over $1000 dollars already. Think I will pass on that investment for now.
