I probably could considering it was really just you and Kevin constantly b*tching about how JD was “purging this team of the only talent they had” at the time, but I genuinely don’t really give a sh*t enough about you to do it.

I have to ask, are you actually  enjoying this? You have multiple battles going on here in this one thread

And I get that as well.  That said, a lot of this particular defense’s struggles can be attributed to youth and inexperience as well.  There are miscues, rookie mistakes, etc., and only reps are going to improve that and limit the big plays that are usually a result of all those things.  If this were a defense mostly comprised of vets (the Big Mac Special) I’d be more upset.

We’ll just have to disagree, man. This is Week Nine, they’ve played a lot of football together and they’ve played cohesive as a unit (at times) against quality opponents. The Colts weren’t running anything exotic out there—it was slants, play action, and mashing it down their throats with basic traps and counters. That’s not an inexperience problem, that’s a getting-your-ass-kicked problem. This is my suspicion: Saleh and his staff are inexperienced and none of them understand how to maintain the emotional temperature of the players, and they’re struggling to motivate the roster week in and week out—which (in their defense!) is a huge, complex task that takes even the best coaches a long time to master. That would explain why they can beat the Bengals and fall asleep against the Colts. And if it’s a deal where Saleh, in his heart, believes that the roster is trash and he’s destined to lose 12+ games, that makes it all the harder for him and his young staff to keep the team on track. IMO, either Saleh figures out—quickly—how to manage the ebbs and flows of his team’s psyche, or he’s going to be Joe Judge.

Thinking on this game and the last, I’m forced to come to the only logical conclusion. Last week we were treated to the greatest QB of all time variant of Mike White. This week he got pruned after his nexus event touchdown. Standby for possible pruning of Josh Johnson i I guess?

Most people dont want to admit the obvious.

The titans and Bengals both didnt come to play and fell victim to trap games.

You also said mahomes would bust. It's almost like you are wrong, 100% of the time and yet feel the need to be loud and condescending while doing so. Hilarious combination.

So again, isnt saying this team isnt talented an indictment of Joe Douglas as a GM? Or is that not his job?

Saleh is a first year HC with a very inexperienced and young team.  I still feel good about him.  He’s learning too.  I feel much better about things getting better with him at the helm than the last two guys in that position.

I wish I could say the same. He's been a major disappointment and his defense has been trash. All gas no brakes my azz. This team looks like a poorly coached team to me.

They did adjust what were you watching!? They played a ton of man coverage and single high top counteract the passing attack. They called a fine game on offense.

the defense lost this game all on their own.

You were a little too quick.  I acknowledged that distinction when admonished by someone else.  I did mean the D coaches even though I failed to say it explicitly.  ?

I had a discussion going on and they wanted to get involved, so I did.   Furthermore, why do you care?

Ok, whatever that means. I just see a lot of name calling.

It means it’s not that deep. It’s just frustrated ass people with nothing better to direct their emotion at. We do this for 3 hours after every game. Mogglez doesn’t strike me as someone who enjoys childish back & forths for sport.

Hard disagree, considering he acts like a child 90% of the time and is constantly arguing with anyone.

What I said wasnt incorrect though. Where is this alleged tirade you promised I was going on about Bell?

Further along, in a nice little late night thread with Kevin and I.  I’m not sifting through it, my point was made.  Liking posts like these drive the point home just enough:

This team 100% has a coaching problem.

You don't beat the Bengals and Titans but then get blown out in virtually every other game (including giving up 54 points coming off your bye week to Mac Jones) without having inconsistent coaching. Come on.

The other thing is the non-competitiveness on the road. The Jets are 0-4 on the road with a -87 point differential (not counting the London game). I'm sorry, but that's a sign of either a historically bad roster or questionable coaching. We already have 2 wins (both against first place teams), so I'm more inclined to question the coaching.

Oh boy, you showed me.

Nope.  Like I said, just not sifting through the thread.  It’s a forum.  Your obsession with following me around because you’re still assmad over a year later that cutting Bell didn’t have the same profound effect on me that it did for you isn’t really something I’m too concerned with.

Also, Bell just sucked.  Give it a rest already.  Thanks.

You quoted me in the middle of a rational discussion with T0m

Lmfao.

You complained earlier about getting neg repped and attacked for your opinion.  You ever stop to think that maybe it’s just you that people don’t like?

Same. The only way you can defend the coaching is by pointing out that the team sucks, they have no chance to win, so they’re only coaching for next year and behind, which seems like a death spiral.

The only rough positive is that the offensive coaching has looked miles better than it has in years just by gauging the past two games and I enjoy knowing the the X factor hasn’t been one particular player/QB, it seems like any QB can come in and have decent success moving the chains — besides Wilson for obvious reasons of not being ready enough.

The only excuse I can think of is “we were tired because it was a short week” but so were the Colts.  And we shouldn’t get waxed 2 out of 3 weeks (with the pats game off a bye against Mac freaking jones).  Losing is one thing but this was inexcusably bad.  Whatever Saleh is as a HC, he’s certainly not distinguishing himself in a good way right now.
