It would be nice if we had the option to make that a combination of date and reputation on the OP - sort of like how reddit works. Mainly, it would be nice to see threads that are downvoted to oblivion pushed down off the front page quickly even if they're getting responded to. You can do several other options though: Basically you can sort it by most viewed, most replies etc. But Rep isn't one of the choices, even under custom.
