Popular Post flgreen
Media is going to make much more about this then it is. Wilson's injury was 3-4 weeks., This is week 3. IMO Wilson should return to practice, and White should get the start. The Dolphins game is where the fun should begin. IMO, unless White puts togeter another 400+ yard win, Wilson takes the team back over. 6

BigRy56
This was a really weird injury. His arm went numb for the game, but was fine by the 4th quarter and now he’s good to play right away? Just weird

I honestly had to just laugh (but wanted to cry) when I heard Joe Buck say White was headed into the medical tent. This just goes to show you, if we drafted Mahomes instead of Adams a few years ago, he would have just gotten hurt here. Or maybe retired early to join the Peace Corps. Or whatever. It's the Jets 4
Beerfish
At times if you have an elbow injury that can numb the forearm. I've banged the elbow bad in the past and that is essentially what happened, forearm down to hand goes numb and weak but things get back to normal quick. 4

I have to admit though that watching White early in the game he looked even more poised and effective than the game last week. I was really expecting him to put up huge numbers again. Just on the eye test he looked sort of elite, in a Kurt Warner type of way. Also even though they wanted to hype the whole Mike White thing, you could tell that Aikman was legitimately impressed. Sucks so bad that happened yesterday.

The defense gave us 0 chance to win the ball game.

If the players on defense felt half the gut punch we all did when White went out it could partially explain the terrible performance. Even if they were completely unaffected from that, I feel like they would have had more juice in the second half if it were a close game. 1

NamathToCaster
Mike White has time to let that arm get ready for next week. Like the 6.45 height and release of this guy. Seems to have good field vision. He needs a good supporting run game. Hoping he is the diamond in the rough we have been looking for since Willie Joe.
munchmemory
Guaranteed Favre/Ben would have gone in and thrown lefty. Nothing against White. But guys like Favre and Big Ben are lunatics and just somehow find another gear.

Perhaps there was some swelling of the bone that continued to compress the ulnar ???

I had my arm go numb from landing on it but it went away in a few minutes. I guess if you fall on it really hard it takes time for that nerve to recover since nerves always take time to do anything. You may be right, but I think its best for both guys if White starts. If White plays well, the offense functions and we (hopefully) win a couple of games. If White struggles, you go back to Zach later in the season. If they go back to Zach against Buffalo at home, he will be treated as public enemy #1 by the fans who will want to see White (maybe public enemy #2 behind Saleh). It could get real ugly for him and the CS. 5
