PatsFanTX
Okay...Tex has all of you fooled.....He's a board troll, nothing more My thank you speech, for one time being as totally objective as I can be on a Jets message board. A-Holes like JonE make this place very interesting.

But I wont, I look at myself in the morning...I won't sell out
PatsFanTX
I remember arguing with Tx for months one offseason. We argued about everything. The season started and the man was all business. Call him what you want. Yes he is truly an a$$...but he knows the game of football! For crying out loud. Did I just get a "somewhat" compliment from the friggn' Head Honcho? Max, I do remember the good ole days quite well. You were an excellent adversary.
TomShane
Max is a punk bitch and that's a great article, Tex. Don't let JonESphinc get to you.
stormshadow19
WHO are you and what have you done with Tx?? This I agree with... what was written was not by the same guy I've seen bash the Jets for the last two years. If, nothing else, you deserve one of these Tx. Nicely written article... but seriously... where's the real Tx?
GimmeShelter
Please enough. No dis to TX on the actual writing of the article but like the dog that gets kicked by his owner every day, Tx has some of us wagging our tails at the slightest sign of a back handed compliment. Well done TX. Tx is cool in my book but that article written by a guy with 10,000 post slamming the Jets suddenly telling us we are a legit threat is a crock of sh*t. Midnight Express
Weren't teh Ravens a wild card team too? The way I remember it the Titans won teh division on a tie breaker becasue of the unequal amount of teams in the AFCC that year and the Tians having a better divisional record because tehy played more AFCC games. I have to research that to make sure Im correct i've only read the teaser on the front page, but i'd like to point out a mistake in the pat fan's facts..... oakland wasn't the only wildcard team to win it all. denver won the superbowl as a wildcard team in 97. +--------+-------------------------------+----------+---------+ | Week | Opponent | Result | Score | +--------+-------------------------------+----------+---------+ | 1 | Kansas City Chiefs | W | 19- 3 | | 2 | at Seattle Seahawks | W | 35-14 | | 3 | St. Louis Rams | W | 35-14 | | 4 | Cincinnati Bengals | W | 38-20 | | 5 | at Atlanta Falcons | W | 29-21 | | 6 | New England Patriots | W | 34-13 | | 7 | BYE WEEK | | 8 | at Oakland Raiders | L | 25-28 | | 9 | at Buffalo Bills | W | 23-20 | | 10 | Seattle Seahawks | W | 30-27 | | 11 | Carolina Panthers | W | 34- 0 | | 12 | at Kansas City Chiefs | L | 22-24 | | 13 | Oakland Raiders | W | 31- 3 | | 14 | at San Diego Chargers | W | 38-28 | | 15 | at Pittsburgh Steelers | L | 24-35 | | 16 | at San Francisco 49ers | L | 17-34 | | 17 | San Diego Chargers | W | 38- 3 | +--------+-------------------------------+----------+---------+ Postseason AFC Wildcard Game: won 42 - 17 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars AFC Divisional Playoff: won 14 - 10 at Kansas City Chiefs AFC Championship Game: won 24 - 21 at Pittsburgh Steelers Super Bowl: won 31 - 24 at Green Bay Packers
