It might just be me but I prioritize an elite pass protector at LT who is an average run blocker over a decent pass protector who is a road grader in the rush game.

Fant is under contract for next year.  We can extend him reasonably or franchise him 

it would probably make sense to draft a T, who would need to play RT first, and roll with Fant, Becton and the rookie.  Let Becton play RT.  I would like to keep Moses, but he is not that good and would be expensive. 

but I would not being giving Becton his job back automatically.

Love that Fant is playing well. Should note that Douglas had Lane Johnson and Jason Peters as his OTs in Philly and still went out and drafted Andre Dillard.

Fant has done well. I think he’s got one year left and I also think he’s moving to rt . Don’t forget he’s playing next to avt. That has to help. Pair him with a better guard at the right side and he’ll be good. At least good enough so the jets won’t have to draft the position.
