Just now, Green Ghost said:

Jets D is gonna get lit up vs the Saints no matter who dat quarterback.

We'll see.  Their OL is missing all of their best starters for the rest of the year I believe.  No Michael Thomas or Kamara, not that this D can't find a way to make them look good of course.

Again, it wasn’t that he was wrong. It’s that he was an absolute donkey about his position and quit when proven wrong then changed his name and tried to slide back in incognito only to gobble up every bit of bait like Pac Man and out himself within like 6 hours lol.

WTF are the saints thinking here

44 mil up to 95 mil!?

for a guy that no other team would sign???

this has to be the second worst contract in NFL history after JFMs

The Saints have the best record in the NFL over the last 5 years, I think

Seems like they're doing something right

Plus, Taysom would have to throw like 250 passes and play most of the snaps per season for the higher bucks

If he was doing that it would be worth it to them

For what the player actually brings to the table it is indeed too high and too much.  That money that is ho hum no big deal now can look bigger when it is time to have to pay full time starters or go after full time guys in FA.

This guy was supposed to be in effect their back up and he got by passed for the utterly horrible trevor simian.

I believe he was in concussion protocol for 3 weeks when Winston went down

This is a bad take imo.  If Taysom were on our team we would absolutely love him.

This is a dude with 20 carries, 4 catches, and 8 pass attempts on the season on a team featuring Trevor Simien at QB. This is Payton seeing how much of the Saints money he can burn before taking the Giants job.

Winston threw him a hospital pass and he took one of the biggest hits to the head I've seen in years.  It took him some time to come back.  A minor foot injury sidelined him last week, there's a decent chance he's going to be the starter this week.

He didn't play at all in the last game, which suggests he was still hurt too

Man lucky we haven't had such bad QB injury luck

$20 M, thats the deal.  If he earns more, good for him

We've seen this for how many years now?  Doesnt it sink in?
