Brown knows the scheme and is good on specials. Morgan was always getting cut (again) once Flacco and/or White came back. Rangers9 Posted November 30, 2021 Share Posted November 30, 2021 Morgan is going through what many NFL players go through the old switcheroo, getting cut, signing with a new team or the same team hoping to get an actual chance to play. This could go on for years esp since NFL rules on practice squads have been eased. Some guys stay for a few years and then go back to the real world, a job, security. Guys like Mike White finally get a chance and either make it or break it. Others hang on to the very last minute, there's new blood coming into the league every year to replace them and then some of them go through the same procedure. Stay for a few years until they're replaced. Guys who were very good college players many don't have much of a career if any career. Remember Tajh Boyd. Look practice squad players get up to 14k a week a lot more than most of us make. But they give up years in the job market in whatever field they would go into.
