He was coming off a long-term injury (missed the 2020 season) and was in camp with the Colts, competing with Blankenship. By all accounts, he looked good in pre-season but the Colts opted to stay with the incumbent. Pineiro had a good year with the Bears on 2019 - their fans still seem to love the guy. His main issue is injury - he was with Washington for a while this year (on their PS) but got hurt again and was let go with an injury settlement.
