By the way, the Saints defense is good and better than the Eagles defense we just played. It's tough to play QB in the NFL. Too bad. Time to grow. The idea isn't to hide him, it's to develop him.

I’d say the opposite.  Coaches do this too often.  Try to insulate their young QBs.  Make them go away from what might be normal.  Defenses know that too and it makes it more difficult, not less.  I’d say let him fire away.

Agreed. Either bench him for an entire season and learn the whole year behind a vet or play the whole season and take your lumps. Cherry picking the games Zach plays is a crappy idea

The kid is improving, his all 22 film breakdown last week showed us that.  Big leap forward.  He needs as much experience as possible.  The OL has been playing very solid pass protection.  

I can't wait to see if he can build off of his good performance last week.

I'm starting to tingle a little - Zach Wilson may (may!) be our FQB!!  yes, similar to Sam and Mark who ended up not being the FQB but still  .... he MAY be.  Lesssgoooooooo!!!

The Saints defense could be without both starting DE's: Cam Jordan and Marcus Davenport.

Cameron Jordan goes on COVID-19 reserve list and Marcus Davenport missed last Thursday’s loss to the Cowboys with a shoulder injury and Tanoh Kpassagnon went on injured reserve last week, so the team could be quite thin at defensive end this weekend.

Kind of crazy feeling but this offense has depth.   Johnson and Walter are solid, both actually have a little pop. Crowder, Cole, Mims, Berrios are fine options at WR.  Great?  No but if you're down 2 WR's and 2 RB's and that's what you're rolling out?  You should feel good.  Kudos JD.

That helps a lot, but they are still a top 10 defense that just held the Cowboys to under 240 yards passing without Davenport.
