Rhg1084
Crazy- he was a good pro here with the Jets, and obviously was a beast with Denver. RIP

RoadFan
Best bubble screen receiver I ever saw. Throw him a quick ball in the flat… he’d run a few steps, break a tackle, and 65 yards to the house. 33 Y.O. What a shame…
kdels62
I didn’t realize I’d be this saddened by his death. RIP to a great player who always came off as very professional.

Maxman
It was rumored for hours when someone that knew him posted it. But nothing was even semi confirmed until that tweet above. So sad, he was 33. Unreal.

PS17
He was the best in the game for a year or two when Peyton went to Denver. Just tragic.
Darnold's Forehead
God damn it. I was always a big fan of his, glad he got to put on our uniform for a time. A true pro’s pro and one hell of a player. Rest in peace man. Prayers out to his family. Way too soon. I have no sources but word on the street seems to be that he suffered an unexpected seizure, possibly during a shower. Police found him in his home. Hael
I hate to speculate but seizures is not a good look for the league. Whenever someone dies like this, its just very difficult to not look at CTE as a contributing factor. We should wait to see the autopsy.
Maynard13
Seizure? How is it his health wasnt being monitored for this? Strange. To young to lose this guy. RIP DT.
mrcoops
Just woke up to this news. Absolutely tragic - still such a young man. He was a great player and, by all accounts, also a great person and team-mate. His Broncos career was superb, and I was really glad he played a season with us as I was always a fan. Really shocked and saddened by this news - sincere condolences to all his family, friends and former team-mates.
sourceworx
Such horrible news to wake up to. Excellent player. He was past his prime by the time he made it to the Jets, but he was still fairly productive and carried himself like a true pro. Only 33 years old. Just awful. My heart goes out to his family.
Matt39
Always a fan of his. Sad news. He had that TD over Revis his rookie year which was the first time he looked mortal at CB.

Butterfield
Terribly sad. RIP DT. Shocking. I wish the best for his family. Just so depressing. My wife has been battling seizures for the past 10 years, and has had some in the shower, and has fallen numerous times and hit her head. She is doing much better now, but this brings me right back to the fear I felt when she was having 10+ grand mals per day. Ugh.
