hmhertz
Based on Corey Davis receptions in his five year career will need to play another 14.5 years to reach a thousand catches. CD great investment on putting skill players around our hopefully franchise QB 3

I'd be pretty happy with Coreys pace if it only took him two years longer.
Popular Post thshadow
How is this a PFF stat? It seems like an algebra question from a math teacher desperately trying to interest their students... 2

Prodigal Syndicate
Even as a resident Douglas hater this is an absurd standard to hold a WR to lol.
Popular Post JTJet
The better stat is that it would take him only 1 more year to hit 1000 drops.

Yeah but that’s only if he could stay healthy and that’s a big if.
derp
There was a stat on free agent wide receivers earlier this year, maybe around week 9 or 10. It was ugly. Davis was the best of the bunch at that time. That’s what bringing in free agent wide receivers often is, though.
The Crusher
Can anyone calculate how many years it will take Zach to reach Brady’s record of passing yards? Dammit Joe Douglas!
Bleedin Green
At this rate it will also apparently take Michael Carter another 42 1/2+ years to break Emmitt Smith's rushing record. What a bum, right?!?
Jet Nut
Think the number could be skewed by a rookie QB struggling? Nah, wrong thread
T0mShane
I’m going to issue the hot take that Corey Davis is a pretty good, high-character football player, he’s 26, and he’s not making that much money for a starting WR. Probably not a #1, but those guys are rare anyway, and as (if) Zach Wilson improves, Davis’ production will improve. It’s no coincidence that every Jets receiver has looked like ass when Wilson starts.
KINGDIRK
It was a bad signing but thankfully JD built in an escape hatch; after next season he gets cut with a dead cap hit of 667k.

So, in conclusion, it seems like a reasonable expectation.

Ridiculous job, should have signed Golladay, Samuel, Agholor, or any of the lithe free agents this offseason who are having great years for their new teams
