Well only 14 WRs in NFL history have hit a thousand catches so that makes sense

1,000 catches, how is that even the goal.  Very odd.

A Hall of Fame receiver would do it in what 10 - 12 years. I'd be pretty happy with Coreys pace if it only took him two years longer.

I’m going to issue the hot take that Corey Davis is a pretty good, high-character football player, he’s 26, and he’s not making that much money for a starting WR. Probably not a #1, but those guys are rare anyway, and as (if) Zach Wilson improves, Davis’ production will improve. It’s no coincidence that every Jets receiver has looked like ass when Wilson starts.

Looking closer at those 14, 7 are already HOFers, 5 (Boldin, Wayne, Johnson, Smith, Ward) are currently semifinalists for this year's class, and the remaining 2 aren't yet eligible (Fitz, Witten).

So, in conclusion, it seems like a reasonable expectation.

Agreed. Ridiculous job, should have signed Golladay, Samuel, Agholor, or any of the lithe free agents this offseason who are having great years for their new teams
