RedBeardedSavage
Saw The Empire Strikes Back as a kid for the first time @ my cousins on Christmas day. That's a Christmas movie for me now. That and the first Die Hard. "Mr Takagi will not be joining us... for the rest of his life."

Integrity28
The year: 1989-90 The moment: I was sitting in the barber's chair getting my holiday haircut. The woman cutting my hair had brought in a 13" tv/vcr combo. She started Die Hard at the beginning of my haircut. Me, in my moment of glory, spent the entire movie in her chair breaking down the awesomeness of every scene with her... and explaining to her that this move made Ode to Joy my favorite Christmas Song even over Bing's White Christmas. She asked, "is this your favorite movie too?" and I responded, "it's my favorite Christmas movie". The rest of popular culture has been playing catchup since. Integrity28
Die Hard Christmas Vacation Elf The Grinch (original, animated - the rest don't exist) A Christmas Carol (with Alistair Sim as Scrooge, this is the version my father and I always sought out) White Christmas Santa Claus is Coming to Town (stop motion, Rankin Bass) Home Alone Just Friends (credit me after you watch it and start adding it to your lists too) Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer (stop motion, Rankin Bass) A Christmas Story Gremlins The Feast of the Seven Fishes A Wonderful Life Polar Express I think that's how I'd order them right now, after waking up at 6AM, burying about 2 bottles of cab, and working my ass off in the kitchen. Let's have George have his life ruined while this rummy dumb loses a pile of money, no biggie. The worst.

As kids we always watched Mr Magoo’s A Christmas Carol.

The are a ton of great animated “Christmas specials” (as we used to call them). I was hesitant about including any because they’re really a different thing altogether, but I felt like getting the original Grinch in there because that Jim Carey Ron Howard abomination might be the worst film ever made.
