Popular Post doitny
i see alot of complaining but Zach had a nice game. no he didnt throw for 300 yds but he didnt need to. we had an icredible day running the ball. and Zach contributed to that. again this is something we didnt see before from him. thats called inprovement. and for the 2nd week in a row there were no bouncing balls, no throws behind people. the kid is moving in the right direction. Edit: forgot his career high 63% completion % 23 3

I’m flabbergasted at those who feel rushing yards don’t count. They’re just obsessed with 300-350 passing yards

Popular Post Barry McCockinner
He's improving - starting to look like he can run an NFL offense. Nice to see him using his legs more - that really puts pressure on defenses and can open things up. Both teams are bad and were banged up/covid but nice to see him look like he belongs. Would LOVE to see him continue looking like that the last 2 games.
Popular Post tfine
Great game by Zach. Didn’t do too much, but didn’t need to. Popular Post bla bla bla
- Another day with no turnovers - Kid has wheels on the ground - No LG, RG, WR1, WR2, WR3 - Jags knew we had to run, and we ran it down their throat. Not thrilled with the win but if you don't see progress, you aren't watching. 16

heymangold
I’m not going to say this was a great game but he didn’t turn it over. Relatively efficient, great game with his legs. Of course having Mims, Cole and Smith as his WRs hurt. Would have loved to have seen his performance if the offense was healthy.
Popular Post hawk
I have been critical of Wilson, every chance I can get, and today he played better than his numbers. He looked more relaxed in the pocket, and his ball placement was much better. Obviously, he had some nice runs, and outside of that he looked better. Was it a result of playing an inferior team for a change, or starting to get his feet under him, IDK, but it certainly was better than what he has put out there. Stop telegraphing your passes Zach. 10

Jetsfan80
Of his 19 throws that weren’t throwaways, I counted 5 bad passes, 2-3 of which were interceptable. Better, but still not very good. And contrary to popular opinion, it looked to me the OL was better than the complainers were saying. Certainly he wasn’t “running for his life” despite the COVID impact.

Jets723
I loved how he extended plays using his legs. Obviously was missing practically all his receivers so he used another way to extend drives which is great

So we drafted a game manager at # 2 overall? I seem to remember the Zachapostles noting how much more talented Wilson is than the game manager Mike White. I’d like to see that talent on display at some point.

I think he played well with what the offense was trying to do which was mostly to run the ball. I really didn’t see any bonehead throws like early in the year. I think there has been major improvement. 6
