It's tempting I must admit. Just look at what Chase has been able to do for Burrows.  It's taken that offense to a whole new level.  The more I think about it, the more it makes sense.  Seeing how our WR's have been underwhelming this year, it's imperitive we get Zach a go to guy. Moore is coming along. Wonderful. But Corey Davis has been a huge disppointment as has been Mims. We just cant afford to miss out on the next great WR. I was listening to Sirrius XM NFL today and they marked Cee Dee Lamb as possibly the next great WR that will emerge in NFL history.  He was taken a few picks after we took Becton. ?‍♂️

Trading back would be cool, but if we took Burks with our Seattle 1st, which is #7 today, I imagine a lot of fans would whine about it until he took the field.

He’s going to be a monster in this league, worthy of a top-10 pick.

Ok i'm convined. I like he showed up against Bama.  He's slated to go 20-27 but fills a great need.  So sick of Zach not having WR's to throw to becuse of injuries, drops, etc etc etc.

4. DeMarvin Leal, DT, Texas A&M

Leal is a versatile lineman who presents challenges to smaller offensive linemen all the same as he causes problems for larger bodies along the opposing front five.

7. (from SEA) Andrew Booth Jr., CB, Clemson

Booth presents a ton of upside at the position as he just recently realized his full potential in a down year for the Tigers.

  • 2 weeks later...
  • 1a David Ojabo DE Michigan
  • 1b Jameson Williams WR Alabama / Treylon Burks WR Arkansas
  • 2a Nick Petit-Frere OT Ohio State
  • 2b Trey McBride TE Colorado State
  • 3 Chad Muma LB Wyoming
  • Cut Lawson, let Maye walk
  • Sign Chandler Jones DE Arizona
  • Sign Ben Jones C Titans
  • Move McGovern to RG
  • Draft RB's, safeties, DT's and interior offensive line on day 3
Pray for Zach, Saleh and Lafleur to improve drastically.

pretty sure lawson is not getting cut - plus i think we roll with mcgovern at center at least one more year - more likely we draft a rg at some point and possibly a ot

Generational!

McGovern is only 29 years old and settling in very nice for us in this system. How bout we get some continuity with our line and keep him where he is. I’d rather give McGovern an extension than draft another center with the 10th overall pick
