So we get stupid, twitter-esque hot takes. Lucas would bash the Jets when deserved (Which was often) but it was balanced and well reasoned. But if you really know something. 1) why say you know something without saying what it is? What’s the point? 2) if you know something why wait until you decided to pile on after the best game of his career? I’m sure there are people that don’t like Zach. I’ve said this before, there are cliques everywhere - 21 year old from BYU that looks like he should be on a WB show. Handed the starting job. Etc. Point is, it’s a pussy thing to say. Willie can't throw something like that out there and not say what it is that he heard. Now he's making it look like he knows something bad about Zach Wilson that the rest of us don't. What exactly has he heard? Because all reports we've seen are that Zach Wilson is a great guy who works hard and teammates like. I'm starting to really think that the SNY crew just didn't want the Jets to draft Zach Wilson and they have this narrative about him that they want to push now. It was starting to show itself every once in a while when they would criticize him, then after the Tampa game they went all in. Exactly. They had/have an agenda. In the end, Wilson has the power to shut them up or prove them right. But it would be nice for the guys that do our postgame to not actively try to sabotage the kid.
