If you are seen as a bad decision maker after enough gaffes, you are put to the side in every meeting and told you can listen, but no sense making any statements since none of them would be under any consideration, so best to just update your resume and get a move on. That is basically where our owners are. Just let JD make the decisions and work with his under boss Saleh to run the show. It is probably best that way for all teams as the owners just do not know enough about football operations to run a team over time without hurting much more than helping. Heck, we have seen it with Jerry Jones for how long, and even there in Pitt, the team everyone says is so well run from top to bottom. Both teams are in position to reload next year. Both teams have terrible head coaches. Both teams play in a swamp in NJ. Both teams have horrible owners. We have an edge with Douglas. He was so arrogant too about it not even accepting trade offers or picking up the phone! now if they promote from within (rumors are this 25 year veteran employee Abrams) is the dumbest move to make! Or if they mandate that the new gm has to retain Judge and Jones!! My solution for them would to go after Harbough (supposedly he may leave Michigan) and let him run the whole franchise.
