Sarge4Tide
Bored.......thought I'd post something......here it goes.... The 10 Greatest Alabama Alums to Ever Play for the Jets 10. Dee Milliner CB (Injury prone underachiever who played for all or parts of 3 seasons for Gang Green) 9. Ray Abruzzese DB (Part Time Starter at Safety on a couple of teams in the mid-1960s) 8. Greg Gantt P (a below average punter on 2 below average Jets teams) 7. Paul Crane LB (A good solid backup LB on the Super Bowl team - played 7 years) 6. CJ Mosley LB (Only started 1 year at LB but it was a good year) 5. James Carpenter OL (4 year starter at Guard - played well at times, not great, not bad) 4. Quinnen Williams DT (Still playing but a 3 year starter so far) 3. Richard Todd QB (Not a great NFL QB, but was the team's starting QB for 6 years) 2. Marty Lyons DT (Tough, reliable member of the Sack Exchange) 1. Joe Namath QB (obviously)

Popular Post ScarletKnight89
I think calling Dee Milliner an "underachiever" is being very generous to him.

section314
Mosley would be my #3...he showed me more in 17 games than Q has in 3 years. I would make it a top 5. Namath Lyons Mosley Todd Q
Jethead
#1 makes the rest of the list irrelevant (although interesting)! I remember Paul Crane. Solid contributor.

Sonny Werblin
If we include Alabama-Birmingham Bryan Thomas could make the list.
CanadaSteve
Top ten players from Alabama, one of which was a horrendous pick, the first, in the short Idzik era, and a punter. A PUNTER. And a bad punter. That's why I like top five lists.

68JET11
Outside of Namath/Lyons, we don't have much luck with BAMA players on this team, which is why I want nothing to do with NEAL... I'll take my chances with Ekwonu... Sorry Sarge
