Jeffrey Simmons 3 sacks and pressure all day

Rashan Gary 2 sacks making big plays all play off game

Quinnen Williams 1 sack his last 8 games

and Jordan Willis since coming back 3 sacks and a game saving blocked punt

Players who give effort on every play are winners. JS, RG and JW are winners, QW is

an effortless, untalented turd

Some guys on some other teams who play the same position as Quinnen Williams have good games in some other cities two weeks after the Jets season ends.

I now feel compelled to start a thread complaining about QW.

Jet fans.

Can’t live with them. Can’t kill them.

Like all of us you are 100% entitled to your opinion.

I rarely throw out the ? on someone’s post but that very last sentence earned it.

They don’t even play the same position as Quinnen.

But he said hes ready to dominate this year.... hes a very good player .... we just want to see the relentless dawg effort and have him fullfill the promise of greatness given where he was drafted.

.... Richard Todd, Ken OBrien, Chad Pennington, Mark Sanchez, Genope, Sam Darnold ...

Here we go again. Hank, are you ever happy watching any Jet player?

Football is a team game. QW’s numbers will increase when the Jets start scoring enough points on offense to maintain leads in football games. And, yeah, they’re already pretty good. He’s basically guaranteed his fifth year option. I look forward to seeing him as a part of next year’s Lawson-JFM-QW-#4 pick defensive line.

There were rumors his rookie year (which he even admits was below his ability level and something he's approved on) that the Jets had received offers from other teams which were declined. And here we are talking about having a potent defensive line and the value of good pass rushers and run stuffers. He talked about improvement from his end while discussing Zach Wilson in terms of learning process. So you don't get rid of your best D line player and his numbers have been lowered because he's double teamed etc. After a player learns his job you don't at that time get rid of them. So I believe him when he says he's improved even though I get the frustration of Jets fans when they see opposing Qbs having too much time to complete passes and very low Jets sack and pressures on Qbs. When you look at our defense this past year what sticks out are the number of successful 3rd and long completions after good defense on 1st and 2nd downs.
