Home field is not what it used to be.  The internet and ticket brokers have changed things significantly.  Most games now have 25-33% of stadiums filled with fans of the visiting team.  I think home teams are just barely over 50% in the NFL the past 2 seasons.

All 3 games this weekend so far have ended with the visiting team kicking the game-winning FG with time running out.

There were like 11 Rams fans at that game. (There are only about 30 Rams fans in existence)

You could clearly hear the crown chanting Kupp every time he caught the ball

Fixed games have more to do with the spread and o/u. It’s for Vegas mostly, not Tom.

People. The games are not fixed. The NFL is making money hand over fist from the players to the coaches to the owners. There is zero incentive to fix games.  Even the officials make good money. If games were fixed it would get out.  There was no reason for the Rams to win that game today in a fixed NFL.  Nor would the NFL want the Packers to lose.

That's because there are no Rams fans.  But did you hear all the Bills fans when they scored just now?
There are quite a few Biills fans in the stands.

I watch almost every game - I have DirecTV Sunday ticket - and in some games you can't tell who is home and who is away.

But funny how all the games so far came down to last minute wins. Keep fans in the seats and eyes glued to the TV.

Agreed. But gambling is at some point gonna blow up in their faces. It's inevitable, a given.  A  ref can manipulate the score, be it the spread or the under/over numbers. And how do you trace it if they do it through 2nd or 3rd parties.

The Dolphins consistently get crushed for taking Tua over Herbert.  By the national media too.  Relentlessly.

How come you never here anyone crushing us for taking Darnold over Allen.

because the Jets have won the next three superbowls in the future so who cares about the present past

Or, you can say - The NFL is making money have over fist because they manipulate the games and stars

Is what someone that believes it’s fixed might say.

Because darnold was pretty much touted as the best qb in that draft by almost everyone.

Yeah. The way he made Gay miss that FG short was amazing.  And how he forced Akers to fumble on the goal line before the half?  What a play!   And forcing that bad snap!  And most of all, stripping Akers with just over 2 minutes left. Tremendous play by Brady!  And the way Brady bounced that 4th down run outside. Outstanding.  But Brady letting Kupp catch those two passes on that last drive is just inexcusable.

Come on people. It's a team game.  Other than the pass to Evans, Brady was subpar today.

Hahaha, fair points all. And yet, these things always seem to happen with Brady. Someone has to throw the TD passes after the fumbles, right?

You watch guys like Burrow, Allen and Mahomes play, and see how old they are. Not to mention guys like Herbert, Jackson and whoever else I’m forgetting.
We have so far to go, and the AFC bar is pretty high.

I think we are closer than you think

I love how Ramsey tells the younger dB to switch off Evans. Then he watches Evans run by him  - hmm . Then on the play Evans falls down he looks to almost jump away from the int. Does anyone really trust this guy ?
