Because they draft well and when they become competitive, they trade for or can lure good free agents to sign. Most good free agents sign with better teams because it’ll keep their value in tact. Jimmy Garappolo is probably one of the most often injured QBs of the last 3 years. Never runs. Josh Allen is not. Runs a lot. QBs that get hurt more often, get hurt more often. Running hasn't shown to have a ton to do with it. Most of the QB injuries we see are related to hits behind the line of scrimmage, tbh. You are perpetuating something that is mostly a dated myth. Another example.. Big Ben, not a "runner" but definitely a scrambler. Hurt all the time. However, built like Josh Allen so he plays through it.
