It's why officials give the benefit of the doubt on close plays at the goal line. If they say No TD then they force a team to use a challenge. If it looks like he likely, but not definitely, got into the end zone they call a TD and let the booth review take a look. I actually like this approach. It's a check on the officials to make sure the play was called right. And again, it happens automatically on every single scoring play and turnover.
