Popular Post Rhg1084
I mean if this turns out to be JDs big splash at the WR position it’d be pretty underwhelming 1
Popular Post T0mShane
On the plus side, he’s used to catching less than 50% of the passes thrown at him, so he’ll fit right in to this offense. 1 2 2

Saul Goodman
He’s an illiterate knucklehead but he’d be a great pick up. Perfect complement to the small, quick receivers we have been accumulating. 4

Popular Post Bleedin Green
There's a very real chance Moore and Davis could be the only Jets WRs coming back next year, in which case at the right price I'd take him back as part of the rotation, but he'd be very, very far from being their answer at the position. He would be more of a Cole replacement than anything else. 5

Rhg1084
Put it this way if we’re spending $9m for a #4 WR I’d rather have Robby > Berrios 7

BeaconJet
That's not technically what DJ Bien-Aime's article actually said... DJ listed 5 WR targets the Jets could go after, and listed Robbie as someone that "If Anderson is moved, the Jets are his preferred designation, a source said. He feels like he has unfinished business in New York and likes Zach Wilson’s talent." Here's the actual article: https://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/jets/ny-receivers-free-agency-trades-20220218-rrbnyxylyfgfde5byiggbr57dq-story.html So its not like Robbie is out there saying trade me to the Jets, its a "source" saying that were he to be traded, he'd prefer the Jets. I guess that's something. 2
BigRy56
He would be a welcome addition as our WR4/5. He certainly wouldn’t get what he’s getting from Carolina from the Jets… that ship has sailed. If the WR corp worked out like Ridley/Jeudy/Cooper/Rookie, Davis, Moore, Berrios, and Anderson… that would be dangerous against any defense 3

kevinc855
Honestly, If you guys can get past your Middle Age egos for a second he’s a very good receiver in the mid field after the catch. I take him back. I’m not a fan for feelings I’m a fan for wins

65 Toss Power Trap
Bring him if the value is right. As others have said he'd be a solid 4th or 5th option. We want to improve the WR unit as a whole. He could help with that. He's good for a few splashy plays.

Rangers9
We drafted Devin Smith to take the role of long threat specialist but instead Robby a FA took over that job and was effective. I could see him coming back as a number 3 specialist and being productive giving Zach a more reliable deep threat. Btw Robby isn’t a UFA until 2024 and is due a lot of money I think like 13 million in ‘22.
tfine
No. He can only run one route and play one position. Coaching staff likes receivers who can play multiplayer roles and WR positions not just a “go route” specialist. oatmeal
I’m usually never that guy but when I think of Robby all I think of is: much rather try our luck on a Godwin then a player who will be snatching Zach up by week

IndianaJet
They’d have to trade him. He’s got two years left on his deal and like a $15 million dead cap hit if he’s cut. (If I’m reading the info right). His base this year is $10 million with another $3million in roster/workout bonuses. I doubt the Panthers would cut him and take that hit, so we would have to trade for him. I don’t want to give up high picks for him, especially at that price.
