Wentz gets a lot of hate but he had a 27/7 td:int last year and 95 QBR. Pretty solid season

3,563 yards, 27 TDs and 7 Int

If Wilson was to ever have a season like that we would be ecstatic. In Wentz's second year he placed together 33 TD and 7 Ints. Yes the numbers doesn't replicate a SB caliber QB but atleast it gives the other players a chance to progress rather then being apart of a **it show offense like the Texans, Jags and Jets.

Wentz has some major issues.  However Garappolo is no upgrade.

Washington had been big QB hunting but I bet their fans are not happy.

It seems like the team just didn't like Wentz. He didn't get vaxxed and missed practices due to protocols before their loss to the Raiders. And then they lost to the Jags in a play in game.

I think the issue with Wentz is more than on field performance. I have read more than once that he is a real piece of work and lockerroom cancer and no one really likes him. He was decent last year but came up small when it mattered and his old coach essentially could not wait to unload him. I suspect it won't work so well for Commanders either.

Does weaken our trade down from 10 position.

Wentz may not be elite, but he's a material upgrade for a 'Manders team basically playing a DIII college scout team guy as their #1 QB.

Fans here in DC will likely hate it, since it isn't Rodgers/Carr/Wilson or that elite-level ilk.  And they hate everything Snyder does, rightfully so, lol.

And they still need to draft a QB as soon as is feasible, definitely.

But if their D comes around back to 2-years ago levels (which it should) they should be a legit competitive team in a QB-weak NFC this year.

With Wentz off the books Colts will have the most cap space going into free agency next week.

They’ll be looking at Jimmy G and Tribisky for sure, but they’ll be major players for a lot guys the Jets will be interested in too.

If that is what Zach Wilson is in year 6 of his career, then yeah, it would be a disappointment.

If you actually watched him play, he was terribly inconsistent. You're not gonna win with a guy like him. In addition, he apparently is a minus in the locker room. There's a reason they cut bait so quick.
