LAD_Brooklyn
For those who are adamant on locking up a LT long term how would you feel about Terron Armstead? Projected as the number one overall free agent with the rest of the guys getting franchised and resigned. Projected salary: Three years, $60 million ($20M per year), $43.75 million total guaranteed. After signing bonuses his cap hit can be right on par with Fant ($11M) or even lower making this a lateral one cap wise. Of course Fant can be traded to a team in need of a low end LT. Probably can fetch a future 3rd rounder.
Beerfish
The uncertainty around Becton is a real pain in the ass for this team. If we knew that he would even be a good long term RT it would be much easier to team plan. As it is Fant (whom I hated when we got him) showed enough to be a good value LT. Fant is 29 armstead 30 so they are close in age and tackles seem to last pretty long in this league and still play well. Tough call but I'd rather, if possible use our cap on other positions. Wr, LB, safety.

No need to spend high draft capital or free agent $$ on a starting OT. Sign a swing guy, draft an OT in the 3rd or 4th in case Becton is a head case, and shore up the OL by bringing in a veteran upgrade at OG.
k-met57
he has never played a full season, and is going to be 31 this year. seems like an odd fit for a rebuild.

Top it all off by drafting one of the many athletic centers in this class who project to go on day three to develop behind McGovern.
